Who are the true descendants who the
Israelites in the Bible are the Jews today the true descendants or are they just citizians of Israel (Israeli)

the direct decendants of Jacob/Israel.... there are 12 tribes.. and those are the Iraelites. there are others who are practicing Jews who are not from any of the tribes of Israel

Obadiah 1:20 talks about Israelites living in Spain. Known as Sephardic Jews today. They are the minority about 15%percent in the Jewish groups of today They have dyed to that percentage due to massacres like the crusades and holocaust and because they don't intermarry nor do they convert non Jews into their race. Yes, "race" the ashkenazi Jews who consider themselves a religion are not the same Jews of the Bible, they intermarry and they have converted many into their religions throughout years. The ashkenazi Jews don't even like the Sephardic Jews, and many of the ashkenazi don't even believe in G-d, unlike the Sephardic Jews and they are so different in language, food, and culture practices. So the Jew of today living in Israel are not all the Biblical Israelites. They are just citizens of Israel. The Jews *are* Israel today, not necessarily genetic descendants. The word Israel has two meanings:
1. the land, Israel
2. the people, Israel
Try reading the Tanach (OT) again. It is about God and His relationship with His people, Israel.

The jews, some jews live on israel, but as it is a country, there are also a lot of estrangers on israel, so the true israel are the jews.

The Jews are the only descendants of Israel today. The other tribes died out.
