I have never in my life seen more pure fabrication than what I have seen on this site given out by supposedly knowledgable Catholics. If you actually learned what your Faith taught, there wouldn't be so many people who thought we were crazy. For crying out loud --- Get a Catechism!!

I agree. Any Roman Catholic who has not read the entirety of the Catechism by the age of 16 should be required to do so as part of their Confirmation classes.

I had the added benefit of studying for a while for the priesthood and thus went deeper than just the catechism (I've read the Summa Theologicae, for example).

Catholics need to educate themselves better on the whole, and need to be reading their Bibles too. Justification for everything Catholics do and believe can be found in there.

What makes you such an authority on me , my knowledge, and my belief system? What falsehood have I spouted about my faith? What is your point anyway? I hope you find a more constructive way to engage people in the future. Most of the erroneous information about Catholicism on this site is not posted by Catholics and most of the questions similar to yours are posted by Catholic bashing fundamentalists. Peace be with you.

Catholics believe in God, don't they? I'd say that is the cause of people thinking you are crazy. The details are irrelevant.
