It is unethical to steal anything. Bibles are given away all the time at churches and hotels. God's Word is freely given by all Christians.

unethical to steal the paper and binding, but ethical to spread the word. try photocopying as a less damning alternative.

If the specific person from whom you steal it doesn't mind you doing so (and you're aware that they don't mind) then it's ethical. But in this situation it isn't really stealing.

Stealing is wrong. No matter what it is . It is wrong. If you wanted a bible all you had to do was ask the church or whatever.

Why would you have to steal one, you can always get a free bible if you ask for one, so given it's availability... yes it's unethical!

no christian should really begrudge it i doubt. and its probably not something god will teach you to do. but it would be the least of all the stealing evils and the greatest of all plunder.
