I have been an atheist for many years , but about 6 months ago I decided to turn to god again. I am an amputee and prayed to god to make my left leg whole again.

Over the last 6 months I have tried to live my life in a moral way and abide by god's law. I pray every night - except Fridays as that is wife swapping night.

Anyway up until today I still have only one leg and I am hopping mad I can tell you.

I thought that homosexuality was just another sin according to your bible... If it is, then can't you just get forgiveness for it like all the other sins? And if you cant be gay and christian, does that mean you can never lie? Because isn't lying the same as being gay according to your bible?

A 5-year-old boy went to visit his grandmother one day.
Playing with his toys in her bedroom while grandma was dusting, he
looked up and said, "Grandma, how come you don't have a boyfriend now
that
Grandpa went to heaven?"

Grandma replied, "Honey, my TV is my boyfriend. I can sit in my
bedroom and watch it all day long. The religious programs make me feel
good
and the comedies make me laugh. I'm happy with my TV as my boyfriend."

Grandma turned on the TV, and the reception was terrible. She started
adjusting the knobs, trying to get the picture in focus.
Frustrated, she started hitting the backside of the TV hoping to fix
the problem when suddenly the door bell rang. Before Grandma could say anything, the little boy ran fast to open the door, and there stood Grandma's minister.

The minister said, "Hello, son, is your Grandma home?"
The little boy replied, "Yeah, she's in the bedroom bangin' her boyfriend."

The minister fainted.

Lieing in the ground, bugs crawling over and through your carcass, gnawing away at your rotting innards, fluids seeping into the satin of your sealed coffin, totally buried beneath layers of cold damp earth, squeezing you from every side, and above you, life.

Again all of you have mis-understood me,. I didn't say it was rude to ask questions. I was referring to ones personality, regarding how they answer others. As for knowing the truth, Even if i did,. None of you would believe me anyway. so why should i try to prove anything to any of you? I was saying that because, the way some of you are being rude, or what have you, is because you can say what you want. And don't have to worry about saying it to ones face. or answer anothers post. Personaly i really don't care what you people think of me. even tho some of you,may think so. I don't. And i don't care what you believe or what you don't believe. I'm neutral. I'm not taking sides. I am just expressing my opinion. And its not my fault, if some of you take it the wrong way. Or you mis-understand what i say. And none of you know my relation with God anyway. So who can say, what i know, or what i don't. As for the truth, If you saw it, would believe it, or not?

Ok, so now archeologists "think" they might have found the tomb of Our Christ....let's go beyond that and think of this one...Let's suppose they find enough evidence for DNA testing out of "Joseph's" stone box. And the scientists do the DNA testing and compare to Jesus's remains...and both are a match. Let's suppose that they do the same to Maria's who is supposedly our "Beloved Holy Mary". and both of their's match. Well..you already know the answer to this one. Now I'm a Christian and will always be a Christian..BUT if this tomb proves to be the "Holy Family" and we come to find out that Joseph is the real father of Jesus, what will this do for Christianity? Scarey thought if you ask me. I also believe that if they find evidence that determines this question then I bet that they will not indulge that information. They have kept other scriptures out of the Bible so why wouldn't they keep the results from the public also for this. Your opinion please.

I can't remember, but I think he had a name (other than Lucifer) before he fell. Than when he fell he got the name Lucifer a.k.a Satan a.k.a the Devil. Correct me if I'm wrong, but please, no bashing. My poor heart can't take it.

If this question is true, then why has God not done so? Remember, if you answer Jesus has appeared and will come again, God is still in heaven. Jesus prayed to his father in heaven many times indicating God was not in the physical world.

I am Chechen and support Chechnya's independence from Russia, but I am only a practicing Roman Catholic, which is a minority where my ancestors are from. It seems that the only way in which Chechnya can gain her freedom is to implement Islamic Law a.k.a. Shariah. Would this be good or bad in the long term?

In Buddhism, such talks are reserved for other religions and scientist. Buddhism only cares about the present and its suffering. Creationist and evolutionist are funny, rather than addressing the needs of today, they are lost in the past with their own theories. Theories about the past will not make suffering go away now. So let me ask, how will bickering about the past change anything now?

Think about it. The Atheist has no evidence that God exists, so they reject such a notion. However, do they have evidence that God does not exist? The answer of course is "no". Therefore, aren't they really jumping to a conclusion?
