~If you find comfort in the thought, go for it. After all, when you kick and all that happens is you're worm food, you ain't gonna know it anyhow.

when you die, you will go to heaven, if you are a born again Christian. all your sins from before you accepted Christ are washed from the slate... and you are new again. the sins after that fact will be accounted for in Heaven (the way I see it) and will be weighed against what we do to forward the Great Commision.. how we help others and do God's work here on earth. our judgement is to determine our place in Heaven... which is different than the judgement awaiting those who have rejected Jesus as the Messiah

Once you seek God's forgiveness for your sins, God no longer remembers them. We will be judged on our fruits(our good deeds) Judgment day is when Jesus returns and all will be judged according to their works. This earth we live on now will be destroyed and a new earth(which will be heaven) will form, and all of those in Christ will live on heaven with Him and the old earth and Satan , sin, death, pain, hate and all who are not written in the Book of Life will be cast into the Lake of Fire. Read Revelations chapters 20-22 email me if you have any questions. God Bless

Well, the penalty for sin is death, and sin can't be forgiven without the shedding of blood. Jesus was the ultimate sacrifice, so if you believe in Him and what He has done, and repent you will have eternal life.
When we die, we do go to something that might be called heaven, but we do not have our physical bodies or to hell. On the last day, we are reunited with our bodies and some people go to be with God and the rest get tossed into the fiery pit with Lucifer.

Hi me m. It is not us who accepts Christ, it is Him who accepts us. We cannot come to the Father unless He draws us. In John 6:44 God tells us:

"No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day."

Also, leading a Christian life will not bring us Salvation either. The Salvation plan that Christ brought is not one of works, it is totally his mercy that saves us. One example God gives us is a parable of two men that Jesus spoke in Luke 18:9-14:

"Also He spoke this parable to some who trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others: 10 “Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. 11 The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, ‘God, I thank You that I am not like other men—extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this tax collector. 12 I fast twice a week; I give tithes of all that I possess.’ 13 And the tax collector, standing afar off, would not so much as raise his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, ‘God, be merciful to me a sinner!’ 14 I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other; for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.”

But to answer your original question, when we die there is a separation of the soul from the body. For the person who has been saved, at the moment of their salvation they received a new resurrected soul. This soul (upon the death of their body) goes into Heaven to be with Jesus Christ. Then, on the last day, these souls along with Jesus will return and receive their resurrected bodies.

For those who are not saved (upon the death of their body), their soul also leaves but instead of going into Heaven it goes to a place of silence. There it remains in darkness and silence until the last day when Jesus returns and then all of the unsaved will be judged and cast into Hell.

God tells us in the Bible we all will stand for judgment. In Romans 14:9-10 we read:

"For to this end Christ died and rose and lived again, that He might be Lord of both the dead and the living. 10 But why do you judge your brother? Or why do you show contempt for your brother? For we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ."

yes as long as you live the life and believe the bible says to repent daily the reason for this is it is so easy to sin and not realize it and if you repent daily then you are forgiven daily . the bible says that every knee shall bow and every toung shall confess that he is the lord thy god and each time you repent while you are her on earth god clears your record to a clean slate unless you are doing the same sin over and over again then you need to learn to over come that sin and walk upright the bible says everyone falls short of the glory of god and that is why he has gives us mercy, he is a forgiving god your judgement will be at the gates of heaven he will say come in my good and faithfull friend if you are a true christian if not then he will say depart from me you workers of eniquity , if you want to get a super close walk with god dig into the word of god he will give you understanding of it and he is the very best friend you could ever ask for , and rember that there are always obsticals and if you just listen to god he will bring you threw them every person has there battles even christian people ,, i will pray for god to streanthen you and for god to give you understanding of the word

the bible don´t say that all christian going to heaven, in fact unless Jesus lie he said in Matthews 5:5 “Happy are the mild-tempered ones, since they will inherit the earth. So Jesus talks very clear, the people who go to heaven are going to rule on high with Jesus is when he become a King in heaven and that still haven´t occur so they are not ruling the earth like the bible said in revelation 5:10.

If you are a born again christian your sins have already been judged and the penalty has already been paid, that what Jesus did on the cross. That is past present and furture sins.
