Yes! And here is why I think so:

Fist- As long as a person does not reject truth, beauty, and goodness, they are eligible for spiritual progress; Heaven if you will.

The Apostle Paul is the person responsible for many of our social, or moral laws. For example:

1-Corinthians ch, 7:1- it is good for a man not to touch a women.
1-Cor. 7: 7- For I would that all men were even as I.( notice he says I would).

1-Cor. 7:27-Art thou bound unto a wife ( married)seek not to be loose. (divorce) Art thou loosed (free) from a wife? Seek not a wife.

Paul is saying that you will have more time to serve the lord if you are not tied down in marriage. This sounds like celibacy to me, and we all know how that works-not! He is right, in a way, we would have more time; however, we would also not be fruitful and multiplying.

The point I want to make is this: that its Paul's opinion and not Gods or Christ's.
Cor;7:26, 28,29,32,35,40,
Cor;8:1, 11:1, 11:2, 11:13,
Galatians 5:2, 5:12,
1 Timothy 2:9, 2:12, 2:14

The above scriptures are clear that it is Paul's opinion -he says it himself- so why can't we accept the fact that the new testament is compiled by man- Paul being one of them. Its not Paul's fault, he says its "my opinion" He never expected his letters to become sacred writing.

I am a Christian; I can accept the contradictions in the bible without losing faith in Jesus Christ.

I am not Gay, I have 3 children and married 30 years. And, I think for anybody to condemn someone to hell, they better know what they're talking about.

Man wrote the whole of the bible based on revelations given to him by: Melchizedek, Adam, Jesus, and others; we are the ones who have distorted what they have taught us-period. I hate saying this in light of what the Muslims are doing. Any disputes as to the spiritual nature of the bible ,gives them more fuel.

I hope this helps a little. God bless and

Peace.........

I think you may be a lot confused ,If you are a christian you are suppose to believe and follow God's teachings. Man shall not lay with man and woman shall not lay with woman ,read Daniels or Leviticus. As for believing the Bible cuz man wrote it,It is the INSPIRED WORD of GOD so as a christian believing Gods Words is the right way if you plan to see heaven.

Aside from whether or not you're gay, you said you don't believe everything in the bible. You can't pick and choose the portions you like and discard the rest. Therefore you are NOT a Christian.

If you DID believe everything in the bible, you'd know that being gay is NOT the way you were created, but an imperfection due to sin. Therefore you would not allow yourself to be (a practicing) gay, despite how bad you may want to be. God does not create homosexuality the same as he did not create sin, and he does not approve of it. You have to choose what's more important to you- God and his word or your gay lifestyle. You cannot be both. God doesn't want you to select portions of the bible that fit around your standards. He wants you to select a lifestyle that fits around HIS standards.

if you don't believe the Bible, you've got a problem.

it's risky, bro. being gay and saved is what is known as being a carnal man: you're saved, but you live as a sinner, which can be seen as backsliding. Plus, outright rejection of God's laws isn't a good thing.

also consider these 3 things:

1) you say God made you gay. scientifically, lust is caused by hormones, but God also gave us self-control. Think about it. Even if you claim you were born that way, you still CHOOSE what relationships you have with people.

2) You don't believe everything the Bible says, right? well can you atleast believe God set a construct for families?: one man, one woman, a child if they so choose, loving God and eachother unconditionally. What's wrong with this? No offense, but by living in a way God disapproves of (he set natural boundarier for a reason) you're rejecting God, which is wrong.

3) There are Christians who resist those urges. There are 3 parts to sin: intent, plan, and action. If you believe that homosexuality is fine, then you've sinned by intending to defy God. If you choose to practice it or condone it, you've sinned. If you do it, you've just committed outright defiance of God in the physical.

hope that helps! and I'd vsit this website; it can help you with urges:

Well, if you go by Matthew 8, the story of the Roman centurion, Jesus does specify that this centurion will go to heaven. The centurion uses the term "παις" which is a young male sexual servant, in the vernacular Greek of the time in which Matthew was written. All high ranking Roman officers were issued one when they were off serving in distant places. He is asking for Jesus to heal his young male servant and Jesus does so, and says the man will go to heaven.

In this story in Luke 7, there is no specific mention of heaven, but Jesus still says of the man that he has superior faith.

I would think that Jesus would be where the buck stops, in Christian tradition.

Another thing to remember is that the Bible has hundreds of admonitions against heterosexual behaviour, but only a handful of debatable ones against homosexual behaviour. If homosexuals aren't getting into heaven, I would think that we would all be in the same boat.

NO!!! if you are a Christian as you claim to be you would have read the Bible and know that it says homosexuality is a sin. if you have read the Bible you should believe what it says in 2 Peter 1: 20-21 "You must understand that no prophecy in Scripture ever came from the prophets themselvesor because they wanted to prophesy. it was the Holy Spirit who moved the prophets to speak from God."

His word also says in Galatians1:9 " I will say it again: If anyone preaches anyother gospel than this, Let Him be forever cursed."

This is Gods word like it or not... you cant pick and choose what you like and dont like...

God still loves you though and wants you to be with Him so just repent.. God will help you

God didn't make you gay but you're going to heaven definitely if you accept Jesus coz God loves you regardless of everything. Yeah, people did write it but it was people who have heard and witnessed God. The bible has pretty good stuff in it so I suggest you take another good look at it!

I'm Christian and I'm Bi.

How does anyone get to heaven? It's the same for anyone. If you trust in God through Jesus Christ, you are saved.

So yes! A Gay Christian can go to heaven, it's all about trusting God. ( Faith in God through Christ).

If your sin is present for anyone to know, you become a target of every Satanic message including those Satanic messages from 'Bible believing' Christians who use the knowledge of your sin against you. They do it here. They are the ones that will quote to you the 'lists' of sins in the New Testament in a way that excludes themselves.

I have been writing for about five minutes. When I click the message to you, I will count how many of those wrote back to you after writing "EDIT", ready?

You give yourself a label of gay. Why do you do so? Are your desires so great in importance that you must define yourself by them? Who else does the same?

You are here on earth to balance the masculine and feminine parts of yourself. If this seems impossible to you, do you believe that nothing is impossible with God?

No, you will not go to heaven until you balance these parts of yourself. God is patient, but do you want to have to keep coming back again and again until you do?

Concerning God making you this way, yes it is in your genes, but so is a propensity toward alcoholism in people's genes. An alcoholic may also believe that he has to satisfy his desires and can't change, but they do. People who have been homosexual have changed as well.

So why it is in your genes? Because you made the choice in previous lifetimes so it has returned so you can resolve it.
I wish you well and God's blessing

I think that if you doubt the Lord's word and if you even have to ask this question then you are not a true Christian. Many people think that the word "Christian" means a believer in God. You are wrong if you think that, anyone can believe in God, but to be a true Christian you have to know his word, respect his word, and love him unconditionally, as he has loved you. You can not be both a Christian and a gay. Look it up!
