Evolutionists believe they are the descendants of apes. I believe I was created in God's image. I'd rather associate with God the Father, than a hairy ape. What are your thoughts on this? Am I correct, or do you believe I could be wrong.

I mean..if there is no God, then why waste your time here, reading ?'s and chiming in on topics? Is it because you want to know God, but are too proud or scared to accept that your actions have everlasting repercussions? Or just get your kicks out of jabbing the faith of others? Just curious.

How do we make more of the young spend their lives in preparation for the next instead of wasting it on the here and now?

i understand that christians beleive that anyone who does not accept jesus as the savior is doomed to hell. really.....tell me how much sense does that make coming from a loving God...that his children who havent yet heard the name of his son or his claims...are doomed to eternal hell? and does that include all the babies? if not...at what point(age) do the babies who live in these lands who havnt yet heard about jesus, become eligible for this eternal suffering?

Christians, bear with me for a second. I know most of you believe Jesus was the only son of God, and that he ascended into heaven after resurrecting.
But just think, what if he was only a man, and Paul really did just want to make him seem a God to get his important message out there.

If he was a man, would Christianity be worse off, or better off?

If he was a man, would it give you hope that you could reach the level of peace and love that he did, by going his "way", walking his path?

"to all who believed him and accepted him [Jesus], he gave the right to become children of God" [John 1:12]

Maybe Jesus was a man, but an amazing mystical role model. One who enchoraged others to have the connection with God that he had. To be able to go in the wilderness and meditate for 40 days. Maybe he was just showing us the way to become "sons of God"

To me, being a daughter of God, would mean that I have connected with God so well, that God is part of me and I am part of God.

If a person says they are not religious....does this mean they are atheist, agnostic, or that they just don't go to church/religious events or practice organized religion?
What is your opinion? Thanks!

how do muslims feel when people tell them Allah isn't the same deity as God? I just want your opinion on how you feel (give emotions please), not an explanation, please.

and just curious, but personally, I don't believe Allah is God. I believe he exists, but not as God. is this likely to anger you, or make you feel sorry for me? don't say why please.

*Note, I'm not hateful towards muslims, I just don't share muslim beliefs. If this has offended anyone, I am sorry. I was just curious about the social stance of the muslims in this section.

Do you honestly in your fully conscious mind, absolutely believed that God created you for a purpose? like, i'm not being an atheist here, i just feel, one, is there a god? and 2, did he create you for a purpose? I HIGHLY doubt you were created for a purpose...why do men, create things..its for CONTROL, and USE. why would god create humans, well, only he would know. its so weird when people say GOD created you for a purpose....i would feel much better if you say "MY LIFE IS NOT A FLUKE, I HAVE IT, THAT MEANS I WAS CHOSEN BY THE SPERM OF MY DAD AND THE EGG FROM MY MOM, TO BE CONCEIVED" lol. that sounds more educated. and if god did create you for a purpose, what if you die when you're a baby, is your purpose to die as a baby, your god given purpose? wake up. and i think the purpose for life is to die...but you can shape your life the way you want it, thats a fact! and christians, i love you guys, i just hate your ability to soak things up, without looking at it, in a realistic way.

here is a question that really makes you question what to do:
would you rather live not believing there is a god and die realizing there is one or live knowing there is a god and die realizing there is none?

i am a catholic and i believe in god.... i believe because i want somebody to be blamed for our problems(besides bush) and think someone out there listens to us.....its sometimes good to know someomes watching over you..... it doesn't matter what religion you are though...

We'll let the bible decide the answer to that:

1 Corinthians chapter 14:

As in all the congregations of the saints, women should remain silent in the churches. They are not allowed to speak, but must be in submission, as the Law says. If they want to inquire about something, they should ask their own husbands at home; for it is disgraceful for a woman to speak in the church.

Ephesians 5:22-24

"Wives, submit to your husbands as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior. Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything."

1 Peter 3:7

"Husbands, in the same way be considerate as you live with your wives, and treat them with respect as the weaker partner and as heirs with you of the gracious gift of life, so that nothing will hinder your prayers."

Unless God became a feminist in the early 1920's then he still feels the same way now.

do you find it wrong if I don't feel sorry for people who choose to reject Christ? if I just say "their choice, their problem"? is it wrong that I prefer to argue rather than just say "I did my part?"

can you give Bible references? and I know atleast 3 atheists, agnostics, or muslims looked at this question.
