Atheists on the prompt are not any more of a faith nor of a consolidated crew. we are loose thinkers who've wanting to now no longer have our lives bent via creating use of the perception in a author. We properly time-honored that technological understand-how has now no longer spoke back each and each of the questions yet were on the most ideal section answering questions that are unknowable interior the interpretations of the Bible. Atheists are not of a religion nor of a consolidated group. We are free thinkers who have decided not to have our lives bent by the belief in a Creator. We acknowledge that science has not answered all the questions but have been on the forefront answering questions that are unknowable in the interpretations of the Bible. The Bible is inconsistent and the wording is changed all the time. I find this to be incongruous.

I am an atheist because the religious are constantly hating someone or group. Christians and Muslims are by far the most hateful of groups - we have ever seen. They are always taking their god to war. The bible is full of hate and vengeance. The well off Christians believe that life is good for them because they are pure of heart thinking that every one else in the world suffering poverty and war is not pure of heart and don't believe strongly enough to live the good life as well as they are not worthy.

What a pile of crap!

Atheists follow a moral code much more real than a Christian one.

The biggest mistake you can make is saying aethiesm in the first plcae is a belief. It's an absence of one. The people who aethiests would be trying to convert who believe in higher forces would need an alternate belief to rely on. Something filled with promise and hope. Therefore without an alternate faith to cling to people would rather just believe in their original God and be comforted by their belief. Therefore, trying to force aetheism on many people would be in vain anyway.

A more sensible question you need to ask is why do people go door-to-door convincing people TO believe in god. The very nature of belief in many religions is too encourage others to believe the same. In christianity, christians are thought to spread the word of god as Jesus did and many people take this very seriously. As aetheism is not a belief, but more an ABSENCE of belief in gods, there is no structure encouraging, or a fundamental BELIEF telling people to tell others to give up religion.

Many aetheists have come to an absence of belief in a god because they were given the freedom to make a decision for themselves. To many aetheists, whos ideas are generally libertarian the idea of forcing their ideas is barbaric.

And let us not state blindly that NO aetheists encourage others to give up god as that is like saying no priest has ever had sex. Their are always exceptions, and although we many not see them regularly door to door, aetheists encourage other people to look at the faults of a beilief in a god/gods on websites such as the aethiesmrevolution.com and so on. The difference is aetheists are USUALLY encouraging others to look past religion and determine for themselves what they want as freedom is in the very core of CHOOSING not to believe, whereas in other religions they are forcing people to believe, citing dire consequences if they dont and NOT encouraging them to look at their beliefs but simply TO believe without asking questions, in many cases althoguh not always.

Well thank goodness they don't because at least they have sense to respect other people's beliefs and leave them alone. I am a Christian but I am fully against those idiots that try to 'spread the word' by basically pestering people and in doing so, giving the rest of us Christians a bad name and making us more hated.

That is because they are at peace with themselves and the belief system they have chosen, they don't see the need to convince others who have a prejudiced opinion against atheism to accept their line of thought. They are secure with the choice they have made and don't see the need ro convince others to join the bandwagon. They exercised their freedom of choice and believe that others have the right to do the same.

Because they are trying to be everything unlike christians, and christians often do that, to convince people to become christians. Athiest often think of themselves as educated, and everyone have the right to choose, so no need trying to force them unto your belief

Being one myself, most atheists don't fit the stereotype of god hating constant converters. We really just don't care. Religion is good and all, but not our cup of tea.
