I mean..if there is no God, then why waste your time here, reading ?'s and chiming in on topics? Is it because you want to know God, but are too proud or scared to accept that your actions have everlasting repercussions? Or just get your kicks out of jabbing the faith of others? Just curious.

They come here because they can and some like to be antagonistic and some have actually deluded their selves into thinking they can change the minds of the faithful. Some think that by using science or nature they can persuade others to think differently, they do no understand that the laws of science and nature are man made laws and God defies those laws.

Because I've studied religions in significant depth and detail, most specifically Catholicism, Islam, LDS, Wicca, Neo-paganism, and the history of religions, not to mention a few of the "offshoots" of Christianity. I answer the questions according to the religion it's being asked under, when I do and I DO NOT jab the faith of others. When I comment, it's not based on opinion devoid of knowledge or otherwise, so just because I'm Buddhist and atheist doesn't mean I don't have anything to share for the benefit of others...

Mostly, its for the fun of it. Some people ask legitimate questions about atheism and evolution. Many atheists come here to answer those. Why are you so threatened by their presence here? Is it because you are insecure in your faith and cannot deal with them questioning it? Are you so afraid of the "everlasting repercussions" that you must constantly try to harass and convert them? Just curious.

Hey there. If you actually read the questions, you'll notice that the actual number of questions asked by Christians for Christians are very few. Most are simply people wanting to debate a hot topic with people who disagree, for instance why "Evolution simply can't work". Being very much interested in Evolution, I can't resist that...

A question for you though. You gave me two options: One, I'm conceited; two, I like sticking it to Christians. Are there always just two options? It seems very evangelist-christian to think of the world in black-or-white. I like to think I can be here for any number or reasons.

It's not about "knowing God". I simply enjoy discussing the subjects that come up here.

Faith pertains to my life. Faith is what drives many people to behave, vote and legislate the way they do. This effects my life regardless of how much or little faith I have and how I may or may not view faith. It effects my life no matter who I am or how much I want it or don't want it to, so why should I not come and discuss something that is so imposing on my existence?

I read and answer religious questions because they intrigue me, not because I'm out to insult anyone else / want them to insult me. Faith is interesting, and it amazes me how dedicated a person can be to the religion of their choice.

I'm agnostic though, not atheist, which may make a difference.

If you're a Christian, Jew or Muslim and don't care or wish to know the Gods in all their many forms and personalities, why continue to read and answer religious questions?

Your question is a perfect piece of hypocrisy, and, I hope my answer clears your vision and cures your Hypocrisy.

Why don't people look up how many times that question has been asked or do they just like to repeat themselves? When you ask a question on this forum it shows you how many times it's already been asked. I find it funny that some would rather ask this than something more serious.

I don't want to play professional football, but I answer in the football section.

If your faith was so solid, then no answer here would shake it, right? Obviously, someone has.
