how do muslims feel when people tell them Allah isn't the same deity as God? I just want your opinion on how you feel (give emotions please), not an explanation, please.

and just curious, but personally, I don't believe Allah is God. I believe he exists, but not as God. is this likely to anger you, or make you feel sorry for me? don't say why please.

*Note, I'm not hateful towards muslims, I just don't share muslim beliefs. If this has offended anyone, I am sorry. I was just curious about the social stance of the muslims in this section.

it makes me feel sorry for the people who wont accept God.
Because as Muslims we believe there is only one God and Allah is how you say God in Arabic. So when you say you don't believe in Allah..(to Muslims) its just like saying you don't believe in God.

It also makes me want to cry because when you are so passionate about something, and you feel you have all the answers to everything you want everyone to know about it. It makes me think "What has our world come to?"

I respect you for asking this question..it was a very courageous question to ask...I'm sure many people were thinking it, but you are the one who asked it...and you asked it with respect, manners and courtesy.

God Bless

Allah is the Arabic word meaning "The God". It means the only one God. Allah is the same God that Jews and Christians worship, just different beliefs about some things. It doesn't anger me when people don't understand our beliefs. It angers me when they don't try to understand. I don't ask people to accept them, just to be tolerant of them the way I am towards your beliefs.

I don't get angry, I just pray that May Allah guide you Amin. You might want to do some reserch before you ask a question, because Allah means Almighty God in English, and Arabs that are Christian say Allah. Here is a site that you go to for more info. http://www.spubs.com

I feel sort of saddened that people never bothered to do their own research or look at what the bible says in other translations. English doesn't have the words needed to describe exactly what the arabic or aramaic words are. If you knew anything about Arabic or Aramaic, you would know that in those bibles, the word for God is Allah. I was surprised when I was in Pakistan and a Christian friend of the family asked me if I believed in Allah. I looked at her and sort of thought to myself "DUH" but just said yes. She told me that about the bible in arabic, as well.

I know there was some sort of statue found long ago that has the claim of being a moon god. Well, how about the fact that because something is spelled similarly doesn't mean it has the same meaning? For example, wasn't it called la illah or something like that? It's not the same as Allah. How about the words there, their, and they're? Do they mean the same since they have similar meanings? No. Or plane and plain, or even plane and plane (one being the aircraft and the other being something used in constructions.) Do you get my point here?

I feel sorry for people who think ALLAH is not God because ALLAH is God. Also I feel angry and sad that they don't see the truth.

The meaning of God is the one who created all things and he is only one God.I'm Muslim and i do not know in what you believe if you do not believe in the one who created all things. We Muslims called him Allah ,the one who created and control all things and you're one of them ,you want or no, it is not your choice.I feel from your message that you have open mind ,please study and check this www.aswatalislam.net
Maybe Allah makes you to put this qeustion to see and understand the truth.
good luck

No it doesn't anger me.

if people cannot understand that Allah and God is the same word, one in arabic and the other is in english then thats their problem.

It's cool with me
