Shouldn't God's chosen people have known a little about their God and their history before Moses came and told them about it?

And every moment you spend on the face of earth is to acknowledge and seek help from our one and only Creator who sent his word (Jesus Christ) to set us right to gain the "likeness of God" in which Adam was created and lost it with his sin?

Jesus told his disciples at The Last Supper that one amongst them would betray Him. It's Judas but Jesus doesn't say this. Jesus knows, however.

Could Judas have changed his mind after the meal? If he had done so, wouldn't that make Jesus flawed in his foretelling? If he couldn't, doesn't that show that Judas did not have free will?

I asked a question about free will and God's foretelling before and got no responses. I'm hoping this is more focused for people to answer.

Each Christian sect claims that their interpretaion of the Holy Bible is the true one-- then why aren't there more Holy Bibles ? Jesus didn't speak different versions of the truth did he?? Even different Catholic sects have division of belief.

Since they managed to aid in fulfilling the will of God, which was to have his own son nailed?

And should Christians condemn Jesus Christ, for he defied his Father's will by shouting "Father, why have you forsaken me??" ?

A response to an earlier question I had asked re: Tree of Knowledge was this: "God did not want Adam and Eve to sin. God knew ahead of time what the results of sin would be. God knew that Adam and Eve would sin, and would thereby bring evil, suffering, and death into the world. Why, then, did God put the tree in the Garden of Eden and allow Satan to tempt Adam and Eve? God put the tree of knowledge of good and evil in the Garden of Eden to give Adam and Eve a choice."

So, if God didnt want us to be sinners, yet knew we would end up sinners, regardless of the "choice" he gave us (choice consisting of eternal Paradise - just dont touch that tempting tree Ive set up over there... Like leaving porn out for a teenager but telling him not to look at it...some "choice") Why bother to create us?? If he wants one thing, yet KNOWS we will fail him, whats his malfunction?

Because you can...
John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

Romans 10:13 "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."

Does Jason from Friday the 13th have the same powers as Jesus since Jason can rise from the dead every time he dies? Who would win in a fight between these 2 unkillable machines.

2 scriptures from the Old Testament that predict Christ:
Genesis 3:15 (this is vague at best)
Deuteronomy 18:15 (But this says “prophet” not messiah and it’s more likely that Moses was talking about Joshua – If you never heard of the New Testament, you’d assume this.)

It never talks about Jesus as he was, or the miracles, or that he would be sent to the cross, etc.

QUESTION:
So, since we Know that there is no way that anyone could have accurately copied the idea of a Christ like figure, before having an example to copy it from, How is it that Jesus is remarkabley similar to so many of the previous suffering saviors of mythology?

Using my superb powers of observation, I've noticed that Judaism (The revelation of the Abrahamic God) and islam (Also a revelation from the same God) Have many things in common, more than Christianity does,

Islam will be (I) and judaism will be (J), Christianity will be (C)

- I and J say no pork, C does not.
- I and J believe in a mono God, C believes in a stereo (Triune)
but the straw which broke the camel's back was that I and J (See my previous question) both allow polygamy, whereas C does not.

Is C a gap in God's revelation?

A friend of mine just posted this anser to my last question

"Roman law at the time did not allow the Jewish leaders to carry out capital punishment."

How come the Jews were going to stone the adulteress but not Jesus? This answer makes no sense.

I have been dating this guy and his family is Jeovah (he is not practicng, but thinks he will one day) and I am a spiritual person. I dont go to church, nor does he. But he is willing to go for his religion. He told me that he has been thinking about it and that he knows that there are things that he needs to do in his self to prepare for it, but he did not think he was ready yet. I dont go to church, nor do I try to get caught up in this religious thing. I am not a hater...too each, their own.

My question is......could that be a deal breaker in a relationship? How could you make it work, if it was?
