And every moment you spend on the face of earth is to acknowledge and seek help from our one and only Creator who sent his word (Jesus Christ) to set us right to gain the "likeness of God" in which Adam was created and lost it with his sin?

I know that life is a gift from God. And I hope that everyone else acknowledges it 2.

No really - is this a question?

Are you sure you aren't just another hypocrite praying loudly in the marketplace? If so, I solemnly assure you, you're already repaid.

But here's a tip! Nothing could possibly be much more revolting to wholesome minds than the idea of "original Sin." That's really the main objection to Christianity - the moral objection. The belief that all human beings are born corrupt because of the error of some fabled ancestor, and salvation can only be affected vicariously through the sacrifice of God's own "Son" to Himself, is so dispicable, so imbecile, so savage and barbaric that the only argument for it is that it was ever promulgated at all.

Have you ever thought of the definition of the term "Blind Faith". That is following something with your eyes so closed that you can not see the contradictions or falsehoods even if they are standing right infront of you. So God created us out of dirt in order to have us seek help from him. Does that not seem like the firefighter starting the fire in order to go and fight it? Yup, certainly does look like it. God created humans to kiss his butt and to have problems, which of course he does not solve but he observers the pain and suffering and does nothing. He sounds like such a swell guy, sounds like he is sadistic actually. Then he lets us go for millenia and then send his son to "set us right". Wow, what a guy. He creates us knowing that we are not perfect creatures, which would only ensure we have problems, then he sends his son to "set us right" in order for us to gain the "likeness of God", which means absolutely nothing since we know nothing of God, nobody has ever seen God, had a conversation with God, been to God's heaven, etc, that can be proven. Those that usually talk to God these days and have conversations have schizophrenia and have to take medication.
The we get to Adam, he sinned because God put a tree with forbidden fruit in the garden and the serpent convinced Adam and Eve to eat from it. Now why would God do something like that? Seems a little bit stupid on his part, and then he acted surprised that Adam and Eve had the fruit. If God knows everything then he would know that Adam and Eve were going to eat from that tree and God put it there anyway. He is pure evil. Also, what was so wrong with eating from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil? There is no logical point not to let his creatures know what evil is in order to steer them clear of it. Or was it to ensure that people could not identify that God truly is evil. If you do not worship him or love him, then you go to hell. He does not sound loving at all, but sounds evil. God has murdered more people in the Bible for not loving him or following him, but still says we are all his children and he loves us, but murders us and sends us to hell. Wow, I hope he never shows he loves me, as the devil appears to have more compassion than your God.
So, back to your question, no I do not believe that life is the gift of God. And if it was then he is very childish in how he gave it, since he is so quickly willing to take this gift away from you. And since that is the case if there is a God, he needs to grow up, or else there is no God.

Yes, I do believe that life is absolutely a gift from God. I just don't believe the slanderous nonsense written about God in the Bible. The Bible is a creation of man. God can only be found in his genuine creations.

Nope, and there was no Adam either. Also if life was the gift of God, where is the return line to return the gifts of Hitler, Stalin, Mao, et al.?

Nope. Life, mine at least, is nothing more than that my mom and dad had sex during a period of fertility, likely in August of 1978.

Where is there a need for a deity in that?

I sure the 7 year old girl who gets sexually abused and beaten by her step father everyday thanks God for the wonderful gift of life.

But I'm sure she did some sinning to deserve that.

Reality called.
