why aren't the religious groups centered in truth , trying to have a more accurate description in drawings used? i believe in jesus but it's hard to put the the drawings the man together in my mind. i know it would be hard to cange but it would be more honest

Lately I've had a bad, dry feeling in my heart. I have trouble connecting with God and feel doughtful and sad. It's like spiritual burnout. If anyone's ever fely like this or has advice, thanks.

I just watched the Bill Mahre (sp) Show. On it was was Steven Weber, Ayaan Hirsi Ali, Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA).

At first this actor, Steven Weber started to bash America, Christians and the War along with Bill.

Ayaan, who has written a book called "Infidel", put both the actors Bill and Steven on the spot by showing just exactly how wrong they are. Since she was a Muslim or is, I don't really know know, it was like watching this woman pour cold water on these two weak minded anti-American douchebags.

She clearly showed and made it very transparent just how slanted the liberal left is against America and Christians in the world. It was good to see the "actor goofs" have to sit and listen. The Politician was a complete ZERO! If he was from my district, I would be so embarrased!

The bottom part of this questions is this: if Bill Maher and Hollywood are so misinformed, why do they continue to espouse hatred towards their country? Is is that fashionable in Hollywood? or what?

Serious question. What drives you? Why must there be so many arguments? Do you not realize that hate and discontent are caused by Satan? God wants us to love each other, not hate.
Do you also not realize that as strong as your faith is, the other person's is just as strong? For the Christian saying that the Bible is real and true, the Muslim is also saying the Qur'an is true. It is a neverending battle. Christians: what ever happened to the belief that only 144,000 (I think) will enter the gates of Heaven?
I am a Christian, but I have to say something here. My hat's off to Muslims, because at least the Qur'an gives credit to the Bible. They may not believe the same way as us, but at least they are not trying to make us out to be total liars.

Yesterday I saw some people walking around with "ash" on their forehead. This guy saw the "smudge" and was trying to be nice by informing them and they said it was ash. What is Ash Wednesday and why the ash on the forehead? We tried asking them, but they almost acted like they could not explain it either.

Why should I respect Muslims when they endanger my life and freedom as an ex-Muslim? Why should I respect Muslims when they imprison and kill people like me? Why should I respect Muslims when apostates and critics of Islam wind up dead? Look at the Afghan convert who barely escaped with his life, look at the Azerbaijani writers who were locked up for abusing Muhammad and who the Iranians want dead, look at the Egyptian blogger who was jailed for four years, look at Turkish converts to Christianity who are on trial for defaming Islam and insulting Turkishness! Look at Ayaan Hirsi Ali, Daniel Pearl, Hitoshi Igarashi (he was Japanese!), Salman Rushdie, the Pope, Theo van Gogh! Need I go on? Even Craig David got death threats which he published on his site! Isn't it the way Muslims do things? Don't debate your critics like civilized human beings, shut them up! Every time I try and respect this religion it fails me. So tell me why I should respect the people who do this to me, to my people.
