The serpent allowed man to see god and the world as it was. To have knowledge of man's true divinity and purpose.

He didn't, the serpent was there, there was a race of reptilian/serpent people. There are many references to aliens in the bible.
The serpent walked upright, and was intelligent and able to speak. it was a reptilian(alien) who taught adam and eve divination and magick - to become gods themselves.
Them eating the apple is a metaphor for this knowledge. Also Eve slept with this serpent, and gave birth to a hybrid bloodline of human and reptilian dna, of which cain was born - hence his evilness and that alien bloodline is spoken of again when the sons of gods slept with women, then god flooded the earth to rid it of this evil bloodlines.

God was in heaven. allknowing he allowed satan to tempt eve. Unlike when Jesus was tempted he knew the Word of GOd to destroy satans efforts. So did eve who spoke to GOd face to face.
