about 15-17% of the world is atheis/agnostic
so that means that 50% of the world believe in a religion that specifically denies the truth of christ..

all these other people in other countries believe in their own country's main religion, just as in America. if you were raised as a muslim in the middle east, most likely you would have died with those beliefs.
Consider yourself, you know that it is highly unlikey YOU would ever convert to some other religion away from yours, christianity.

How can anyone say that those people could go to hell for not recognizing christ? do people really think that the 50% of the world who believe in another religion sinnfully chose the religion bestowed upon them by their parents/culture?

I left my collection of religious books with a family member (Koran, Torah, Bible, etc.) Wanting to have the collection, I went to the dollar store and found a Bible. After searching through several discount stores, I could not find any other religious books. Are all of the dollar/discount/wholesale stores owned by Christians? Do you know where I can find these other texts at a reasonable price?

The disbelievers are an open enemy to you. 4:101

If they ... assail your religion, then fight the heads of disbelief. ...
Fight them! Allah will chastise them at your hands, and He will lay them low and give you victory over them 9:12-14

Fight against such of those who have been given the Scripture as believe not in Allah. 9:29

Fight those of the disbelievers who are near to you, and let them find harshness in you. 9:123

will be killed by believers.
They long that ye should disbelieve even as they disbelieve ... take them and kill them wherever ye find them. 4:89

Slay the idolaters wherever ye find them, and take them (captive), and besiege them, and prepare for them each ambush. 9:5

when they have like a second collection, or *for myself a priest, other than my own* ask to make a donation to a organation and to fill out this envelope and put money, or a check, or a credit card number on there.

I only enough money with me for the collection. And i don't know there's gonna be a second collection, or a priest there to discuss something next week for donations...i always feel so bad that i have no extra money on me. I don't bring my purse with me. I just feel stupid for having it with me.

Anyways...why do i feel bad when i don't have any extra money for these kind of donations?

How can atheism be considered a cult?

Atheists are not a religious movement, but a personal decision to reject all ideas of god and divine scripture. We have no "charismatic leader" who claims to be god, not only because we do not believe in god, but because we are not an organized group.

Nicole sweety, this question's for you. :)

If God truly does exist, why can't I believe? Does this make me a realist? Agnostic? Atheist?

What is it that I have to do in order to find this faith that everyone speaks of? I used to try. When I was younger (I'm 31 now) I used to pray and HOPE that there was actually someone out there listening.

People have told me that it's instinctual, they've always just known. Others say they found him in later years.

Why don't I get it when so many others do? And if I never do get it, what then? Does that mean that God doesn't exist for ME?

Sorry all, I'm a religious moron...

Because the term "cult" came after the term "christian"?

Although there are several definitions, cults generally describe new religious movements founded by people that bring forth a new doctrine not found in the old scripture. Does this not perfectly describe Jesus Christ?

The world cult is also associated with a charismatic leader who claims to be "divinity incarnate". Does this not also describe Jesus Christ?

Yes, I'm aware that cults are often associated with abusive situations ... but this is not the basis of all cults, while my previous two points are. So therefore, the idea of an abusive atmosphere can be disregarded in this case ... I guess ...
