ok i would like some input on how yall keep from lusting.
i am not sexually active, or will be until marriage

Eden is not only a Biblical word. It has been mentioned in a mythology of a country several times. The mythology refered to existed 10's of thousands of years before the Bible:

1. What is that mythology?

Because I envy you.
The Bible says that nonbelievers can do no good. (look it up.)
That means you cannot cry, feel sadness, or love someone.
I've spent my entire life in tears and you people

Isn't it Gods job to punish those who "sin" against him?

If so, please stop trying to convince others what YOU believe is right and supreme.

If you want to have an abortion, that's on your conscious.
If you want to marry someone of he same sex, that's on your conscious.

Christians, please stop trying to impede scientific development because you think it's wrong, If your God didn't want it to happen, why did he chose to implant free will into our DNA?

I have struggled to have a relationship with God for most my life. I have found it to be confusing, aggrevating, and fear inspiring. Seems to me he has this thing for answering prayers in a rather mean fashion, so I have hard time trusting him. Is it possible to just "skip god" for the time being, and try to have a relationship with the Holy Spirit instead? I got my idea from 1 Cor 2:10 if anyone is wondering.
I just thought that in the meantime, it might help me develop spiritually, instead of having to put spirituality on the back burner while I get over my resentments.

I have a friend who is into the Lord at time, but sometime can be shifted towards the devils ways. Like for instance, he came into lots of money flashing it ( the money) around those who were at the time in need for money. His brother's!!! For some reason he can't see the things that he does wrong. I don't mean to judge, but sometime he is selfish. I was wondering if there was something in the Bible that could help him with this problem.

I used to know a girl that was always trying so hard to get her life on track. When I compared myself to her, I always thought that I was further ahead in life not because I tried harder or was any better of a person, but because I did not have to go through the things that she did. She ended up killing herself a couple of years ago and her death really got to me. Most of her problems started when she was young and had no control over her situation. A lot of the people we knew looked down on her. She was far from perfect, but she really tried her best to make things right for her children and herself. A lot of people in her situation would have made worse decisions for themselves than she did. She just had a lot more to overcome. It always seemed to me that she never had a chance.

I just heard some really bad news about a 4 year old I care about today and the girl I used to know came to mind. The 4 year old has had a really rough life in her 4 short years.
