In Islam, it is a sign of respect to say "Peace be upon him" after speaking the name of a prophet.

Jesus pbuh means
Eesa and Maseeh peace be upon him.
We muslims are advised to send salutations to All prophets of Allah.
We respect prophets.
Christians and jews do not call Jesus pbuh with respect. We respect.

Because they don't know Him. They think He was just a prophet and not God incarnate.
Punter, I've asked you this before: How is worshiping Jesus Christ as the Savior of the World disrespecting Him? You disrespect Him by relegating Him to the role of prophet when He is King of Kings, Lord of Lords and God incarnate.
