"If you are thirsty, and Jesus is enthroned, drink. Drinking, the simplest act there is, means taking. "He that believeth on Me, out of him shall flow rivers of living water. This spake He of the Spirit." To "believe" is to know, because of His Word. How shall I know that I have power to meet temptation, to witness for Him? Believe His Word; it will come.

Lord Jesus, I take my hands off, as far as my life is concerned. I put Thee on the throne in my heart. Change, cleanse, use me as Thou shalt choose. I take the full power of Thy Holy Spirit. I thank Thee. I may never know a tithe of the result until Morning. "
Bill Borden, age 18 Borden of Yale

Also, oddly enough, the angel said that Jacob would be called Yisra'el, or, "one who struggled with God".

I have never heard of a more ridiculous faith system. If you say something they do not like, guess what " you are going to hell". How much more sadistic can you get? If you dare even ask a question about it, they report you and have your question removed because the truth does hurt. Police nation!

To everybody else, I ask, what do you think about christianity?
Now I have just made this a question?
They will try to have it removed just because the question again bothers them, but I have the right to say whatever i want. Just as I have been told I am going to hell, I do not report them, I take it like a man.
Even though this question is not for christians they will still answer, it never fails!
So what do you think about that?
Also, why did christians kill so many at the turn of the of the last millenia who did not believe their ways.
What is the outcome for such religions as christianity in the future?
Other than heaven and forever young type fantasies?
Thank you

sit back and think about this one. does God defend sin. does Jesus. so why do christians. the bible has many scriptures saying to go and sin no more.John 5:14
Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee.
John 8:11
She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.
John 9:31
Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth.
Romans 6:6
Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
Romans 6:12
Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.
Romans 6:14
For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.
Romans 6:15
What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.

i was brought up religiously and i consider myself now to be somewhat religious, but sometimes i cant help but be unsure. the whole idea of "god" seems kindof fantasy-like. at the same time, i dont understand how all these amazing things in the world and life could become without a higher power of some sort...

Let say we are able to get the DNA of Jesus Christ and scan it.

Would we get the DNA of God Himself, or it's 100% DNA of Mary?

It seems like it would be easier to be a strong Christian when you are married because you do not have to deal with not having sex. That is my biggest temptation and if I was married it seems as if it would be gone. Am I being stupid? It probably gets harder...right?

I am a catholic and was raised in catholic home. I believe in God, but sometimes I get angry and doubt him. I am by no means a perfect person, noone is, but I do have morals and no what is right and what is wrong. I have always for the most part did things that were morally correct, because in my heart its how I felt. But I feel so lost, because I have always had to struggle in my life. Things never seem to work out for me no matter how hard I try and if anyhthing hard and sad things seem to happen if anything. I am tired to be honest and don't know how to feel anymore. I am 29 yrs old and I went through alot in the last year or so. I don't know how much more I can take. Why does God put so much on my plate when I don't feel I deserve this much. And there are people that live so easily and are lucky in this lifetime and they don't even have a faith or believe in God.

Why does the christians believe that jesus ever existed & why do they believe that other religions are untrue & there is no existence & basis of their faith?
Are christians trying to form a single religion on this earth?

I have thought long and hard about converting and its something that I want to do. I know what a huge change and commitment it is. And that's what I want. But no one seems to want to help me convert. I don't think they understand my reasons for doing it which are simple to me. I just had my first child and I want to raise him as a Jew because I wasn't given much of a spiritual or cultural identity growing up because my mother was adopted and not very religious. I want him to have the familiarity of traditions and the comfort of an extended spiritual family and after studying many faiths and philosophies (even years before his birth) Judaism is what I connect with most.

Is that not a valid reason? And who says what is a good reason? This is what I want. Why are they rejecting me? Do I need to be marrying a Jew to have a "valid" reason to convert? And what makes that better, it only seem forced to me? This is what I actually WANT to do.

Open to Hindus and Non-Hindus...

Basically, Hinduism DOES NOT force anyone to convert to it or DOES NOT stop anyone from converting to another religion.

It DOES NOT ask its followers to go around giving pamphlets or brochures asking people to join it.

It follows its word "Non-violence". It promotes harmonious relationship with one another. NEVER DID IT SAY "ALL THE OTHER RELIGIONS ARE BOGUS". It respects all the religions and gods and prophets and believes in their existence.

The Vatican State is a foreign power. It has ambassadors and is a member of the UN. And its envoys do not believe in a separation of church and state. It is clear therefore that there is a contradiction between the US constitution and Catholic dogma on this issue. Catholics owe allegiance to both Rome and also the USA. This is extremely dangerous, isn't it ? If politicians are Catholics it could easily undermine the sovereignty of the USA and its Constitution. Therefore, please tell me why Catholics have today such huge political power in the US administration ?

Jesus to His disciples:

...there are some of those who are standing here who shall not taste death until they see the Son of Man coming in His kingdom. (Mt.16:27,28)

Jesus to His twelve apostles:

...you shall not finish going through the cities of Israel, until the Son of Man comes. (Mt.10:23)

The revelation of Jesus Christ communicated through John to His bond-servants:

The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show to His bond-servants, the things which must shortly take place... (Rv.1:1)
Behold, He is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see Him, even those who pierced Him...(Rv.1:7)
I am coming quickly... (Rv.3:11)
...I am coming quickly. (Rv.22:7)
Behold, I am coming quickly... (Rv.22:12)
Yes, I am coming quickly. (Rv.22:20)

Jesus consistently maintained He would return a second time within His own generation. As expected, the disciples preached the same throughout the known world.
