My words about to sound harsh, but try to take them as constructive criticism. It is not insulting to me that you make fun of Christians in this way, because I am not a Christian persay (more of a Unitarian Universalist), but there is something that does kind of bug me about this question. You are unwilling to see the other side. I am not saying your wrong or that they are right. I am saying, that unless you are 35,000 years old, you have absolutely no sure proof that your assumptions are correct. There is no way, to date, for you to have solid proof that the earth has indeed lasted longer than 35,000 years (actually the correct number is about 13,000) or if it has been around only 100 years. Heck, I can argue the earth doesn't exist at all. So, until you have solid proof....no flaws what-so-ever, try to consider other people's beliefs and try not to make a question such as this sound like you think they are absolute idiots for the things they believe. Believe what you want, they can believe what they want, neither, in my opinion, should close their minds to new possibilities.
