Can we be of one mind? Or is this impossible? Is it a fantasy? A nightmare? Am I just naive?

I believe I met my soulmate. However, due to his own personal problems/karma (it's even in his chart, 12th house is packed) I believe that it is just not our destiny to be together this lifetime. Being with him may actually kill me or (or has) just make my life a living hell. He is a drug user. We are not in contact, which is in itself complicated.

This is brief of course. I will check in if you have questions. Even if you don't know/believe in Astrology, I am interested in hearing your thoughts.

I am really struggling with this. It is weird because in my late teens, I had a 'knowing' that I would not be with my soulmate. I don't want to be with anyone else, and before him I never wanted to be with anyone.

*Plays Yesterday by The Beatles*

First, let me tell you a story, my story.

About my last relationship.

Well, last year, there was this nice girl. Fell in love and asked her out, everything was cool and I told her my feelings, she accepted me.

During the relationship, I gave her everything.

I gave her money, phone credit, attention, time, love, poems, everything else you can imagine.

But, for some reason, as time went by she began to be quite....cold....

Then one day she wanted to break up with me.

I asked her why? She said she wanted to focus on her studies.

So I let her go....

The following week, I saw her with some other guy =_="

After that I read her latest blog post, it was about how that guy rejected her.

...I don't get it, I gave her everything, I came from a good family, I'm rich*cough, really*, and I am quite good looking =p

But still, she left.

I have been studying with a mate today Gen 2:2,3.
We have been using blue letter bible and have come up with a theory that god made the word in 6 days
verse 2 "and he rested" in hebrew 'tense' means the mood was imperfect or incomplete.
Whereas when you go to verse 3"that in it he had rested" in hebrew 'tense' means mood perfect or completed action.
In other words my mate reckons that between verse 2 and 3 there could be a time frame of 2400 years to the time of Moses recieving the laws of the covernant.

Sorry if this sounds heavy, It still is a bit hard for me to understand.

What comments do you have on this?

can someone please tell me how i can explain the concept of balance and moderation from this passage.

"Blessed are you who are poor, for the kingdom of God is yours. Blessed are you who are now hungry, for you will be satisfied. Blessed are you who are now weeping, for you will laugh. Blessed are you when people hate you, and when they exclude and insult you, and denounce your name as evil on account of the Son of Man. Rejoice and leap for joy on that day! Behold, your reward will be great in heaven. For their ancestors treated the prophets in the same way. But woe to you who are rich, for you have received your consolation. But woe to you who are filled now, for you will be hungry. Woe to you who laugh now, for you will grieve and weep. Woe to you when all speak well of you, for their ancestors treated the false prophets in this way.”

I have mocked your Christ. I am sorry about this. I have repented. I will try not to mock anyone here ever again and particularly not innocents.

I mean, technically ... isn't medical technology interfering in god's will? If you truly believe in god's divine plan, shouldn't you leave the job of healing up to him?

(BTW, I directed this question towards believers because I know how my fellow atheists probably feel about the subject. But you guys are of course more than welcome to chime in, as usual!)

I've been getting emails that people want me to change my name back to Proud Muslimah. Do you think I should? I am one, and love that name, so it would be no problem. I've been busy with some spiritual things and non spiritual things among other events happening in my life. What do you think? Go back to my original name?

My Grandma was very old, she is a Buddhist [dono its Buddhist or Taoist].

Doctor told us to be prepared and start to plan for her 'after-life' ceremony/service.

Had try calling up spore casket & some other "funeral" company.
They r not willing to reveal the process and cost. Was being told to come back atfer e person passed on.

I was being told that there is 3 type of Funeral:
1] Held the Service @ Singapore Casket Parlour,
2] At VOID DECK [apply permit from e Town Councils],
3] At TEMPLE .

Can anyone tell me what the differences? Also , any thing to pay attention to due to religious ? As the elder always said that there is taboo or Rules to pay attention to when helding Funeral.

For cremetion , is there any difference as of where the Ashes\Urns should be kept?
Was told that we can either bring it HOME, TEMPLE or COLOMBARIUM. Whats the differences?

Can anyone advise me of what to do or prepare?

Than kYou.

Does it actually matter if Jesus (or any religious entity) was actually beyond humanity IF you are to accept that (i) people believe in a higher being regardless and (ii) the net effect of the role model in guiding/improving people’s behavior is and continues to be the same?

Why do we claim that god exists or that he do not exist? Why we can not be honest to ourself and admit that we do not know if He exist and we do not know if He doesn't exist?
