Why do we claim that god exists or that he do not exist? Why we can not be honest to ourself and admit that we do not know if He exist and we do not know if He doesn't exist?

I admitted to myself a long time ago that we cannot possibly "know" that God exists or not. We can only "believe" that God does or does not exist. As a Deist, I happen to "believe" that God does exist, but I do not "know" that for sure.

I can honestly say he does exist. But I do so by faith, and not by logic or reason. For both are finite and limited by man's understanding of the world.

I believe the writers of the Bible who say God existed first and created man. And that from that beginning three powerful religions of the world Judaism, Islam, and Christianity, came from Abraham mentioned in that book.

I think if man started religion, then there is no true religion at all. No one man can claim there's is the true religon for all founders of religion are equal to do so without rightful contradiction from anyone else.

Simply, there were witnesses that saw His son responsible for the following:
Turning water into wine for a wedding feast.
Curing a sick child who was near death.
Curing a lame man, a man with a virulent skin disease, a paralyzed man.
Feeding a crowd of five thousand using only fives loaves of bread and two fish.
Walking on water to reach his disciples who were in a boat (and enabling Peter to walk on water, also).
Giving sight to a man born blind.
Resurrecting a man (Lazarus) who had been dead for four days.
Appearing to Peter, James, and John in a transfigured state, with unearthly, brilliant white clothes, and with Elijah and Moses at His side.
Resurrect three days after he died.

There are prophecies, and many other reasons. But mainly because there were too many witnesses.

Hope this help Good luck.

I can't answer you that here It may take too long But I write a coding for you; It is very informal and more can be added but , just to help you, and in the spirit of riddles and little educational games, with all due respect; let's do it- I know you'll get the idea soon;here it goes:

-[[Symbols: >> (Much greater than) = (Equals to or directly proportional/related to)]]-

Entropy=less available energy that could be transformed to Work=cease of living processes
Eternal nature=living processes
2nd law of Thermodynamics= Entropy
1 law of Thermodynamics= Conservation of Energy
more Entropy/same energy= Cease of living processes=not eternal nature
Quantum world= new physics
less energy= more stable system=quantum numbers= Pauli & Aufbau Principle...
Big Bang=more energy=less stable point=unnatural (non-spontaneous process=work=initiator
Probability of a initiator/creation point>> probability of life as an eternal pure random process
{Evidence: Big Bang; Homeostatis; Cell regulation}
Nothing comes from nothing, change comes from potential, order comes from order, disorder comes from order, pure disorder doesn't exist. Intelligence is order= Information processing is order=Information procesing is something=. Information Processing isn't nothing=Information procesing didn't came from nothing= Information processing is something=Information processing always exist...To not be is nothing, to not be doesn't exist.
Natural life=Entopy= We sitll here= Time exist= Information Procesing exist= What is exist= Nothing doesn't exist= we didn't came out from nothing= We did came out from something; Natural life=Entropy=not eternal Universe=Big Bang-= Conservation of Energy= Time processing= Information Processing since Big bang= Information Processing before natural Life = Non-natural Information Processing= Non-natural life; Control of Non-natural Information Proccesing to develop proccesing= Supernatural Information Processing= Supernatural Inteligence= God
{Evidence: Evolution, information proccesing, languaje, Physical Equilibrium, Quantum Mechanical restricction.s..etc.}
Personal Conclusion: Probabilty of God to exist>> Probability of God not to exist

Rational Option: Belive in Some form of non-natural information processing (non-natural in the laws of Physics context) a.K.a God (Believe in some God)

Note: This is not an Intelligent Desing Argument.

We can know He exists because He has revealed Himself to us throughout history. First, through the prophets, then, through His Son, Jesus - a man of history. Read the accounts by the eyewitnesses as recorded in a collection of 66 books we call the Bible, then decide for yourself if He is a liar, or a lunatic, or the Lord.

Some of us have enough faith to believe that a god does exist. Some of us have seen enough evidence to believe otherwise. For everyone in the middle who hasn't made their mind up yet, that's okay too. Its a personal decision for everyone. We all need to be more respectful of each other's beliefs.

A very good question. I myself am agnostic thus I don't know whether god exists or not (I haven't seen any proof for either side).

Please read my words carefully:
If you see footmark in the sand, you'll say that someone passed from here...
If you see a piece of dog sh*t on the ground, you'll say that a dog passed from here...
So what about the enormous universe, the sky, stars, planets, earth and all the beauty in it, doesn't it lead to that someone made it?!!!

Some people say that everything is created by itself after the big-bang... I won't ask you about what caused the big-bang, but I'll ask you a simple question:
If you take all the letters of the alphabet, multiples of them, and you threw them randomly on the floor. Do you expect (by a chance of one in infinity) to get a poem like shakespear's??!!

Can't you see how organized our universe is, the planets, the eco-system on earth, look even in your own body... Can you control your heart-beat? Can you control your breath while you're sleeping? Who stopped your eye-lashes from growing after reaching a certain length? Who told the baby turtles to move towards the sea and not to the earth after they come out of their eggs? Who taught the bird how to make nests?

My friend, think with your heart and brain. If you're still lost, think about the following:

Do you know how to play safe?
Non-believer's case:
If there's no God and you do all what you want in life, then nothing will happen to you after life. But if there was God and you were mistaken, then you'll blame yourself FOREVER...

Believer's case:
If there's God and I followed His commands in life, then I'll be in Heaven after life FOREVER. But if there was no God and we're mistaken, then nothing bad will happen to us after life...

Now you know how to play-safe, in case you're not convinced?

some people believe, some others do not, God does not have to really exist in order to believe in him, or her, or them, whatever your faith dictates. and if you do not believe, it would not change the reality that those who believe do not need facts about the existence of their version of deity.
