Sure He has a sense of humor - look at the duck-billed platypus.
Jesus had some fun with his disciples: After His resurrection, He came alongside two of them walking to Emaeus. They were very upset, confused, and discouraged after the crucifixion. Jesus asked them what they were talking about and why thy looked so sad. Luke 24:18 "And one of them, whose name was Cleopas, answering said unto him, 'Are you only a stranger in Jerusalem, and have not heard the things which have taken place?' And He said to them 'What Things?' Jesus knew full well what things. He just wanted to mess with them. It was His joy to reveal Himself to them. How can anyone describe how their moods must have done a 180'!

It's a bit strange the way you wrote your question...
God tells us to be always happy...what do human beings understand from here?
There is a special happiness...a clear, saint one!
After that He says to pray all the time...only those that are praying all the time can find the REAL happiness!
It depends of what is it "amusement" for a person...!?

do not concern about god ,god loves the joke as much as the fact
god is love
all the best of jokes came from him
get a guy to take off his clothes
cant you just see god has a sense of humour ,
but god isnt into just mild slap stiche ,
she tells the funnist humour about how she did this and that ,
how the angels delivered the right message at the wrong time how they delivered the wrong message at the write time
she dosnt just joke at others she is very self depriciating about some things , only she can tell some of them properlly
but with god you knoe shes only joking not scoring point s
and some of the ribold stuff oops just watch the angels blush ,
get her to tell you about the lush who had thrush ,
it doesnt translate but it sure was funny in hind sight ,
but not at the time ,look i have gone too far ,but god is love ,and humour is the base difference between beast and man

I bet God has the best sense of humor,in fact I know he does because he's very humorous with me sometimes.Like that time when the train coming from the left stopped and I decided to cross the tracks because it was just sitting there and my car would not shift into drive,so I got really mad and started hitting the gear shift and then I heard something from the right looked up only to momentarily lock eyes with the conductor who was coming from the right and then the train just sped by.....after that my car shifted into drive and I never had a problem with it shifting after that.Now that's funny.

I suppose that after God told Adam to name the animals and Adam got to the platypus he probably asked God, Is this a joke? and God said Nah, I was running out of ideas. I think God created humor also.

There's always the obvious response: the platypus. Only a Supreme Being with a bizarre sense of humor could make up that beastie. Sex has also been mentioned as proof that the Almighty likes a laugh.
