Errr... why do you make me list only one person! This is torture! There's more than one for each category that I like and or respect.

Whose the Muslim you respect most? Proud Muslimah, because she's a great friend and a good representative of her faith.

Whose the Christian you respect most? Father K, because he seems pretty smart and has a sense of humor.

Whose the Atheist you respect most? J.P. Because any Atheist that would tell me that I'd make a worthy opponent at Ragnarök has my utmost respect. That, and he's pretty damn smart.

Whose the Pagan you respect most? Kallan. She's also a great friend and does a wonderful job representing her beliefs.

Hmm...I like this.
Let's see:
Muslim, I'd say Muslimah (the original one). She's very sweet, and intelligent. She also doesn't try to shove her religion down anyone's throat.
As for Christians, that's a tough one. There are many that I respect. I can't name any particular one. There are too many. I like all the ones who can answer questions without simply telling a person to have faith, repent, or read the Bible. I like the ones who give INTELLIGENT answers, and who are always kind. There are many of those here.
As for atheists, I'd say Jim Darwin is up there, and so are Mav and Kallan.
As for pagans...hmm...there are several. I'll get their names momentarily.

Edit: I thought Kallan was an atheist. Ah well, then their name can go under pagans, lol.

Muslim The man I love who shall remain nameless. He is wise, brave, and has given most of his 65 years to bettering the lot of all humanity. He also lost 11 sons in the struggle and still keeps on working to improve the lot of all. He changed my life by showing me a new way to live and think. For his love I am forever grateful.

The Christian I respect most is Father Tysick, the local priest who runs a home and caring facility for the truly disadvantaged and lost in society. He claims he sees Jesus in the face of the suffering he helps.

I don't know any atheists!

The Pagan I admire most is my dear friend Helen who takes in any animal that its owners cannot keep. She has a small farm full of abandoned pot bellied pigs, sheep, goats, dogs, wingless chickens and a few wingless ducks (escapees from the local chicken slaughterhouse). In order to keep these animals in good health, she is constantly broke but she feels it is worthwhile. She does not worship these animals as I have heard some people think pagans do, she is just a good woman who cares.

The Buddhist I admire most is the Dalai Lama.

I respect people who do not judge but really try to answer the questions with knowledge. I find it hard to keep that vote down button from being hit when someone calls someone a name. That's just not the way to really answer a question.
As for peoples names I don't really know many. I just know that I like them when they know what they are talking about and not just saying 2 points and calling someone a name.

Sorry I can't answer your question specifically... but I respect any person in this forum who is intelligent enough or knows enough to give a good answer. A person who can give a good argument yet not too bashful and inconsiderate. And a person who respects others' opinion and beleifs.. :)

After all these ABSOLUTELY SENSELESS homophobic wars of anti-islamists I must admit that being Christian myself I respect Hindus the most.

I try to have general respect for everyone, some people do make it hard, but I try. For me to seriously respect someone they have to earn that respect, it cannot be demanded.
