Does it matter if he was black, white or brown? Is it not the lasting message he gave the world more important?

Jesus was not black, this belief began within the African slave communities who related the trials and tribulations of the Israelites with their own plight. Especially being taken prisoner in their own lands and taken as slaves the a foreign land.
The Israelites were taken by the Babylonians and in fact the police or authority are widely referred to as the Babylon in Jamaica.
Jesus was an Aramaic speaking Jew living in Israel / Palestine a few decades before the Romans finally destroyed the Temple and scattered the Jews throughout the region.

Jesus was Jewish. A lot of Jews are olive complexioned. He was also from a part of the world where most people there were probably darker skinned from the heat and sun. If he was not black, I guarantee you he had dark skin.

Not black, but certainly Middle Eastern. Unlike what most Americans think when they picture Him like He's from Scandinavia.

Jesus hair was like wool and the feet of fine bronze.
I believe Jesus is black.
Akbar instead, pointed to Revelations 1:14 and 1:15 as well as Daniel 10:6.
"His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire; 15 And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters." (Rev. 1:14 and 1:15)
"His body also was like the beryl, and his face as the appearance of lightning, and his eyes as lamps of fire, and his arms and his feet like in colour to polished brass, and the voice of his words like the voice of a multitude." (Daniel 10:6)
Boris Johnson," the paper says. As light-hearted evidence that Jesus was black, it adds that he "called everybody 'brother', liked Gospel, and couldn't get a fair trial".
The important thing is that, no matter what He looked like or what color was His skin, or what texture was His hair, or what shape His physical features took, He was God, the Son of God, and our Lord and Savior and He remains our only path to salvation.

He probably wasn't black, more olive-skinned with dark hair. I've yet to meet a blue eyed/blond haired indigent from that part of the world.
