I have a friend who is into the Lord at time, but sometime can be shifted towards the devils ways. Like for instance, he came into lots of money flashing it ( the money) around those who were at the time in need for money. His brother's!!! For some reason he can't see the things that he does wrong. I don't mean to judge, but sometime he is selfish. I was wondering if there was something in the Bible that could help him with this problem.

Give your burden for him to the Lord. The Lord will show him the way. It's not your job, but you can keep a little pocket promise book handy in case an opportunity comes up that will present itself for you to suggest how God handles things and then let the Holy Spirit work in him.

Have him read the Gospel of John, followed by Luke, Matthew and Mark. Offer to read them with him, and DO NOT tell him his "problem". All he needs is to get to know Jesus Christ better. That will solve the problem. Understand, though, that it may take some time. Continue to love him without judging him (as you are doing now), and pray for him. That is the best thing you can do.

My son, forget not my law, but let thine heart keep my commandments. Proverbs 3:1
Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding. Proverbs 4:7
You could ask him to read and meditate on Proverbs because there are many good scriptures in it that help to keep us rooted and grounded in God. I hope this helps! God bless you.
