Yes, there are several stories in the Bible of men of great faith who questioned God. The point is that we obey Him. There will always be things in this life that we don't understand and all we can do is ask God why, read our Bible and wait for His answer. Some answers we'll receive in this life and others we will not know until He has returned for us or called us home.

To me, very, very acceptable. Why should I NOT question something that people based their whole lives around? I will not mindlessly follow something of that scale without knowing some serious answers first that I feel to be truth.
