THose who say that most of the main religions havent been peacefull. That may be true, but do they encourage violence that Islam. Please explain. Man Islam is such a loving religion.

Good Question!
You are probably brain-washed about the verse that calls for the Muslims to kill the Infidels. Right? Anyways, The Quran itself makes everything clear:
Anyone can be misleaded by just quoting a part of the entire sentence...
"They killed him" draws sympathy for the killed person.
But the entire sentence proves us wrong
" They killed him because he had murdered thousands"
Now that justifies the part...
Similarly read the entire part. And if you do, you will find that the verse refers to the battlefield. In a war, if you find the 'infidels' who had tortured you and who want to kill you, kill them.
Who were this 'infidels'.
If you read the entire context, you get to know that, these are those pagan barbaric people who had tortured muslims, looted their property, didnt even leave the old and handicapped tortured them too. And it was during this time, that ALLAH had commanded to be steadfast. These years passed with full persecution and not even a single muslim replied back with a Slap!
So, when they migrated to Madinah, it was revealed to them "fight for your rights" "If these pagans come to kill you, you can kill them too"
As plain as that... Is this inhuman??? Any war general will say this.
But Almighty GOD, ALLAH wants more than this. What is it?
The verse continues, "But if the infidels want peace and want to surrender, ESCORT them to a place of safety"
The maximum a very merciful general will do is to say "Let them GO"
But here Islam says, "ESCORT them to a place of safety"

In learning a Qur'an, you have to be somewhat clever, because it's quite tricky. You have to study everything else related to the verse you are learning. When and why was it spoken. What was the background of the verse, etc. As far as I can tell you, you shouldn't read it one by one. You could me mislead. Learn the groups, not just one group.
If you can memorize lots of things, try reading from the first page to the last. Start grouping the verses into three parts: history, moslem's obligations and the rewards, and the punishments for doing certain things. Afer that, divide them into some smaller groups, e.g: daily prayers, special prayers, and so on. By this time, you might start to understand the essence of the Qur'an. Believe me, you would be surprised of what you're going to find out. After everything you think is organized, try to find out the history of the the verses you're interested about, which verse comes first and which came next. In doing this, you might need someone who had learned Islam's theology and understands perfectly. Then you'll see that your 'very organized' lists are actually messy. So learn it as a whole, not partially.

No, its definitely not peaceful....... Islam was founded by Muhammad who is an interesting character. He started his career by robbing caravans. He was a thief turned prophet. He was a charismatic leader who was able to unite the religions in the area into one religion through his creation of the Quaran that borrowed bits and pieces from other scriptures such as the Bible's old and new testaments. For example, Jesus is cited in the Quaran as just a prophet as well as the Apostles being referenced. Muhammad gained power by conquering his neighbors and subjugating them to Islam. His teachings are to subjugate those of non-Islamic faith "Infidels" by converting them to Islam or pay a retribution and be under the rule of Islam if not converted. These Islam rules apply to Muslims today and there is a sizable minority of several million who subscribe to the bloody, aggressive religious theology of subjugation. All of the major wars today are with Islamic groups. Islam is the largest enemy that the west faces today and you can be assured that more battles will be fought by the US and west against radical Islam.
