The bible and the Quran have been translated into English and other languages, for people who do not understand the original. Each translation differs from the original.
There are three main translations of the Quran into English. Let us compare how they translate Sura 4:89, dealing with how to treat the infidel:
YUSUFALI: They but wish that ye should reject Faith, as they do, and thus be on the same footing (as they): But take not friends from their ranks until they flee in the way of Allah (from what is forbidden). But if they turn renegades, SEIZE THEM AND SLAY THEM wherever ye find them; and (in any case) take no friends or helpers from their ranks.
PICKTHAL: They long that ye should disbelieve even as they disbelieve, that ye may be upon a level (with them). So choose not friends from them till they forsake their homes in the way of Allah; if they turn back (to enmity) then TAKE THEM AND KILL THEM wherever ye find them, and choose no friend nor helper from among them.
SHAKIR: They desire that you should disbelieve as they have disbelieved, so that you might be (all) alike; therefore, take not from among them friends until they fly (their homes) in Allah's way; but if they turn back, then SEIZE THEM AND KILL THEM wherever you find them, and take not from among them a friend or a helper.
The comparison is most interesting. We must choose between seizing and killing the non-Muslim, taking and killing the non-Muslim, and seizing and slaying the non-Muslim.

The bible was written by men who were inspired by the Holy Spirit. Some of them actually lived and saw the miracles of Jesus Christ. The Bible is the Word of God. It is God's letter to His children. However, the men had their own styles, their own knowledge. They wrote the bible and addressed them to certain people of a particular place and time. We have to read the bible under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. We also need to follow the teaching authority of the Chruch or the Magisterium of the Church when we interpret the Bible otherwise we will all have different interpretations. God entrusted His revelations to the Church so the Church helps us to interpret the Bible the way God wants to convey His message to us. We also have to read the Bible in the proper context. Bible study classes can help us learn to read the Bible according to how God wanted us to understand His Word.

THE BIBLE IS THE WORD OF GOD IN THE WORDS OF MEN.
Biblical inerrancy, is the Bible's privilege of never teaching error. Does this mean that every statement in the Bible is divine teaching? Of course not! The Bible does not always teach. There are many statements in its various books that are there for historical, geographical, poetic or other reasons. However, whenever a biblical author intends to teach us something, the Holy Spirit intends that too. Everything the Bible teaches is without error, but everything in the Bible is not meant as teaching. Each author was left free by the author to express himself according to the ideas of his own day. It is the revelation in the Scriptures that is important.
Grace and peace to you!

The bible is the word of God written on a book by the prophets and the apostles as human beings. The words were dictated by God to them to be written to let some other people know about its good teachings as well as the existence of God. The bible teaches you to be a good person, a good man indeed if you will follow the commandments of God

The Bible has been a star of hope to countless millions, a comfort to the dying, and a compass to the living. It is a book without equal, but most important of all it is " the Word of God"

The best evidence that the bible is the inspired word of God is to be found within its covers. It proves itself.-Charles Hodge
When you have read the Bible, you will know it is the word of God, because you wil have found it is the key to your own heart, your own happiness, and your own duty.-Woodrow Wilson

You'll have to look pretty hard for a straight up opposite. There are parallel verses that emphasis different theological truths, but no clear contradicitons.
Recall: Inspiriation was flawless, translation and interpretation is not. Try reading it in the original Hebrew, it turns out quite nicer!

The Bible is written by man, but the Word of God may be communicated through it. In the same way a pastor speaks, and he himself is not the Word of God, but the Word of God may be communicated through him.
