What exactly is it that makes people believe Islam teaches violence and hatred? Terrorists are not a proper example. I'm just wondering why.

I'm struggling here (as I'm sure some of you could tell).

Give me three solid reasons to believe in God, Heaven and Hell. Something that proves it to me. No quotes from the Bible I've already read it, and no telling me that I'll go to hell if I don't believe.

WHY should I believe? Who's going to show me first hand that God exists. I have to SEE it with my own two eyes. I just can't grasp it otherwise. I need something REAL.

I went to Sunday School growing up and was an active member in my church. So please no preaching, just three solid things that will prove that God exists.

No crtiticism please, I'm looking for some truth.

The apostles fell asleep while praying.

Paul was too religious.

Timothy was too young and had an ulcer.

Martha worried about everything.

Zacheaus was too small.

Lazarus was dead.

What's your excuse?

there's comments against asians, saying their dumb and have unclean water and they're thanking god they're americans. nobody chose to be the race they are, and if they did, it was for learning purposes, in another life time, they were a different race, they chose another race because of karma purposes and education for the soul. *sigh* another reason why world peace will never start for another million years.

I have asked this question before. I still don't understand.

Say I'm this evil person. Killed millions of people. Actually took over the whole world and forced everyone to convert to Christianity. Millions die, millions raped, whole countries destroyed.

I live to be 110. I always believed in Jesus Christ as my savior. I believed I was following his orders all of my life. He smiled down on me and all my crimes.
Do I go to heaven?

If Christians abide by their own laws, then yes, I do.

Don't say that I didn't repent. I didn't repent because I didn't think I had done anything wrong. I in fact had "saved" the whole world by turning them to the right belief, whether they wanted it or not.

Unless you guys twist the facts, I am going to heaven. I just showed you guys the flaw in Christianity. People are rewarded for bad actions.

I am a 15 year old Jewish girl, and proud to be so.

Call me names, I don't care.

He uses fear to threaten those who don't believe, and to prevent others from turning? Or should I say, the Church does? What a wrathful God. Flooding the world on a whim, lakes of fire, etc. Uses fear to keep his public in line. Hey, isn't that the definition of a terrorist?

Do you not realize that Jesus Christ is in you?

Perhaps we need to clean out our closets, get rid of the junk, and have the room for compassion and love.

Our faith calls us to continually let go of what takes up space in our hearts and minds and instead to allow ourselves to be filled with the love of God.

i have a friend who is catholic and he forgot to eat fish friday and ate meat? he was really bothered by it. i asked him why because i was sure God would allow this one slip up and he told me it was because he was to fast from meat on fridays. why is this and where did it come from? thanks for any info.
