Yes. And that's the last we've heard from him. I'm sure he'll come busting through the clouds any day now.

He said he was coming in the lifetime of the people who were listening to him. He never once said "brb" however.
Some of his apostles, including Paul, were expecting him soon.
And two of Jesus' uncle's (Uncle Joe's) employees showed up at a gathering of Jesus' followers and told them he had ascended and would descend in the same manner, at the same speed, and in the same place.
There is no record of anyone ever having said "brb".

Yes but something must have happened because he is now over 2000 years late according to the Bible.
In Luke 21:25-32 Christ tells his followers about the end of the world and his pending return from heaven and then tells them that their generation would not pass away before these things happened.
That was well over 2000 years ago.

probably!
He will come again near the day of judgement to prove that he never asked his followers to worship him. And he will make ALLAH the witness.
Jesus(pbuh) is a creation not the creator. Believe him as a messenger you will be saved.
Believe him the creator you are doing 'SHIRK', that means staning against GOD and that is ALLAH

If Jesus lived today, he probably would have. Because Jesus would definitely use an instant messenger of some type.

Depends on who he was text-messaging at the time. I mean, I'm pretty sure he wasn't giving any clues to Pilot's cell, but maybe Magdalene.

Actually, he said he'd be back before this generation would pass.
Mat 24:34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.

He said (lost something in translation), "I'm just off out for a bit, does anyone want anything from the garage while I'm there?"
