Do you not realize that Jesus Christ is in you?
Perhaps we need to clean out our closets, get rid of the junk, and have the room for compassion and love.
Our faith calls us to continually let go of what takes up space in our hearts and minds and instead to allow ourselves to be filled with the love of God.

Jesus is only in us if we accept him. if you don't then you can't "clean your closets" cuz he's really the only one who can. And that's personal experience, i didn't make it up

Sorry to disappoint you yet I take care of many. because it takes position there are some i actually love too. notwithstanding, my mind's eye gained't follow the likes of your imaginary god or gods. Sorry.

While I agree that there is a divine spark in each of us, I don't think believing in God or accepting Jesus Christ is the prerequisite to experience love. I think you first have to love yourself and love those important to you and allow your loved ones to love you back. Perhaps that *is* God's love, as Christians call it. There's an old addage that says, "No one can love you if you first don't love yourself." Just my two cents.
