There is the matter of what is acceptable and what is unacceptable in the community in which one lives. Almost every culture has rules and customs that censure marriage between people who are closely related by blood, often viewing such unions as incestuous and hence taboo.

Not to be overlooked is our God-given conscience. All people are born with a sense of right and wrong, good and bad. (Romans 2:15) Their conscience tells them what is normal and proper and what is unnatural and offensive, unless it has been distorted or deadened by perverted practices

While Christians are not under the law of Moses, their conscience tells them clearly that marriage between close fleshly relatives such as father and daughter, mother and son, brother and sister is totally unacceptable in the Christian community. Christians recognize that there are laws and statutes that govern legal marriage and that there are standards that are socially and culturally acceptable. These must be taken into careful consideration so that we can comply with the Scriptural injunction: “Let marriage be honorable among all.”—Hebrews 13:4.

Well ummm... you mean incestuous like Daddy and daughter?? Ewwww! Or do you mean between cousins, not first cousins.
Marriage between cousins is still practiced to this very day and has been around since Abraham and even before. When I say cousins I mean more distant cousins. Not like 1st or 2nd cousins. (Although there have been marriages with those but of course the genes don't always agree.)

Inbreeding would be my concern. However, having thought about it, maybe it would be up to you. It really depends on the circumstances. If you were both well known to be in an incestuous relationship by your friends and family, they may frown upon it and shun you. You could say that incest has been made illegal and a taboo by a socially constructed moralistic view. I am not completely dismissing the idea, but I have to say I dont know!

Incestuous relationships occur far more often than people realise, and have been going on since time immemorial.
Some parts of the country have a court devoted to these sort of offences - Kent and Lincolnshire are renowned for it, whether fairly or not I wouldn't know.
Is this where the saying 'each to their own' comes from?

Most states have laws against marrying anyone that is a 2nd cousin or closer. There are reasons for this. One of them is the whole gene problem. It really has been proven that if your genes stay the same for too many generations, you start to get birth defects and problems with development of fetus'. I don't agree with it personally, and if you could get away with it by law, then I'm sure there would be people who would.

because of the fact gay anybody is often complaining approximately not having rights and so on. yet people who're in contact in incest do not whinge because of the fact they're frightened of being found out. you have raised an extremely good ingredient. and that i don't understand why some anybody is saying that incest will cut back to rubble the off springs. gay will have no off springs in any respect. So if something incest is extra organic because of the fact a minimum of the human race will save on. yet whilst the completed international replace into to show gay at present. in one hundred years time the youngest individual would be one hundred years previous

Inbreeding often results in genetic abnormalities in children from these relationships, which is probably the reason it is against the law.

If same-sex marriage is legal, so should all marriage between consenting adults. Who are we to "impose our morality" on others?
