I left my collection of religious books with a family member (Koran, Torah, Bible, etc.) Wanting to have the collection, I went to the dollar store and found a Bible. After searching through several discount stores, I could not find any other religious books. Are all of the dollar/discount/wholesale stores owned by Christians? Do you know where I can find these other texts at a reasonable price?

Forget about the dollar stores. The bible and the Quran have been translated into English and other languages, for people who do not understand the original. Each translation differs from the original.
There are three main translations of the Quran into English. Let us compare how they translate Sura 4:89, dealing with how to treat the infidel:
YUSUFALI: They but wish that ye should reject Faith, as they do, and thus be on the same footing (as they): But take not friends from their ranks until they flee in the way of Allah (from what is forbidden). But if they turn renegades, SEIZE THEM AND SLAY THEM wherever ye find them; and (in any case) take no friends or helpers from their ranks.
PICKTHAL: They long that ye should disbelieve even as they disbelieve, that ye may be upon a level (with them). So choose not friends from them till they forsake their homes in the way of Allah; if they turn back (to enmity) then TAKE THEM AND KILL THEM wherever ye find them, and choose no friend nor helper from among them.
SHAKIR: They desire that you should disbelieve as they have disbelieved, so that you might be (all) alike; therefore, take not from among them friends until they fly (their homes) in Allah's way; but if they turn back, then SEIZE THEM AND KILL THEM wherever you find them, and take not from among them a friend or a helper.
The comparison is most interesting. We must choose between seizing and killing the non-Muslim, taking and killing the non-Muslim, and seizing and slaying the non-Muslim.

The dollar stores get books that regular stores cannot sell. I am not sure where you could find other religion's holy writings at a cheap price, but I wish you luck.

I observed an infomercial on television for a ministry advertising packets of magic miracle water. They claimed it could make you give up smoking, treatment ailment - that is like prayer in a shot glass. and every time somebody buys a packet of magic miracle water, a new child in want of a Bible in Africa gets one. that's a win-win... Why no longer purchase magic miracle water?

I know friggin expensive stuff. money can be the root of all evil. doesn't even allow the Gospel to be easily read.

I think that they carry items that sell, most likely is the reason.
