I can't believe I'm being so bold as to answer this question... Sunman's answer is so true that it charges me!
However I also have an answer... "everything" you see and feel from the greatest anger to the greatest love and I can only know my part ... One thing I have noticed is that hate is not part of it. Hate is the opposite expression of God.

sorry however i do respect the religions and are a good way of control. However this has all gone pear shaped now and religion now longer works. The sooner people realise this the better the world will be.
Now continually fighting all across the world due religion! let dump religion and stop fighting.

Some people see Him in everything and others completely miss Him. They then argue endlessly about whether or not He exists.
Even the ones who believe in God claim not to be able to truly comprehend him.
Clearly God is something of enormous importance to the human race, based on a clear historical preoccupation (obsession at times).
From this we can deduce that God is an enormous entity of great power made visible through an act of perception.
Bigger than Elvis, bigger even than Santa.

It's more a realization and a feeling plus a directly perceived experience. Read the explanation in "Heaven On Earth - On Achieving Human Unity and Enlightenment" by Stephen D'Amico, published by Ameek Press, web site: ameekpress.com! You'll get it there!!!
