The God of existence is beyond human understanding or comprehension with a cosmic love of infinite proportion,
satan is a manifestation of frightened children.

The almighty God (Jehovah) his first son Jesus , Cherubs, Seraphins and the angels. the bible did not say that satan is in hell he was expulse from heaven to earth (Revelation 12:1-5) Satan was a Cherub (ezekiel 28:11-19) he is the chief of the third part of the angels now demons that were expulse from heaven in the group must include different kinds of angels. ahh and by the way the bible doesnt said that gabriel was an Archangel there is only one mentioned in the bible Michael the great prince (Daniel 12:1-4), that is the name of Jesus before he came to earth the angel of covenant of Malachi 3:1-3 that God told that he will send it.

If God is almighty, then Satan is his subordinate and is just following orders.
If Satan poses a threat independent of God, then Satan and God are similar in power because Satan can act independent of the will of God... or at the very least, God is like a cat and Satan is a very annoying and meddlesome mouse... But it also means that Revelations is not a prediction, but God doing pre-fight trash talk.
GOD: Satan, I am going to KICK YOUR *** and throw you in a lake of fire!
SATAN: Whatever, dude! Like you caught me all the other times! AS IF!
Announcer: And now for the MAIN EVENT. Let's get ready to RUMBLE!!!
SATAN: Don't think so. I'm a mouse, dude. I'm audi. Nice try God. Buh-bye and take care now.
So the "predicted" events in Revelations are always coming up, but never quite happen because God isn't quite the master of Satan. Certainly makes the story more interesting. God not being "all-powerful" would also explain a lot of Biblical errors and contradictions.
GOD: Look, I've been busy chasing Satan, ok? I'll get to editing the Bible when I have more time, ok? Sheesh. Picky people...
Also...
GOD: Sheesh. Ok, so the whole putting tree of knowledge in the reach of people with the moral IQ of babies idea was totally a mistake. Did we really even know what child abuse *was* back then? And, yes, the whole having my only son beaten to a bloody pulp and crucified for what really amounted to my own mistake wasn't really just an absolution of the sin as a result of my screw up, but also to ask for your own forgiveness in... I'll admit... I pretty screwed up way.... Things were happening, the story needed closure... well, we really had kind of painted ourselves into a corner on the whole Jesus political situation, plus Satan had figured out what we were trying to do and started interfering... Uh. What a mess. Anyhow, I was hoping that it would be way I could say "I forgive you" so then maybe you would forgive me... Well, ok, I *was* kind of hoping you'd miss my culpability in original sin, but since you noticed, I was hoping you'd also notice that I was also kind of requesting you'd forgive me. For My sake! I forgive you; you forgive me - it's a personal relationship thing. Besides, I really need you praying to me instead of Satan or his buddy Mammon because without your spiritual support they are getting more powerful every day...

the rank?
God is sovereign - he reigns over all
God the Father - Son and Spirit are the trinity.
Satan was Lucifer, the most beautiful of all the angels. He was also given charge over lots of things, but fell from grace when pride set in.
Other than that - there isn't alot of info about Angels and their rank. Michael is an archangel, Gabriel is also one - a messenger of God.
EDIT
per your additional details
Satan would consider himself the chief of the fallen angels. He may or may not have organized them into ranks - we won't know that until we get to heaven.
Don't know about "imps" never heard that term used in scripture. God created angels including Lucifer, Michael and Gabriel. When Lucifer (Satan) rebelled, he took about 1/3 of the angels with him who also rebelled - these are now "fallen angels" - some call all of the fallen angels devils or demons.

The spiritual heirarchy is something like this, although I didn't get this from any religious text...
There are 6 planes above the physical (7 including it) and 6 below (as above, so below).
The planes above the physical are populated by two types of beings. Those who are on the upward spiral back to the almighty and those on the downward spiral away.
The planes below the physical are populated by two types of being as well, and it's the same principle.
Now as for where 'god' and 'satan' come into it, well as the extreme poles of nature 'god' exists on the 7th plane (6th above the physical) known as godhood, or seventh heaven, in esoteric circles, and 'satan' exists on the 6th plane below the physical.
I don't know whether that's been any help.

There really is none. God is at the top, being the Creator, Jesus Christ sits at his right hand, the angels are beneath them being a creation, and man is beneath the angels. Satan is beneath all creation and his demons are on par with him, as they all suffer the same fate. They will be destroyed according to Scripture.

Let's see Satan gave us knowledge of good an evil and God killed every living thing on the earth... OK, so if you love satan, then you believe in the creator almighty, which happens to be a murderer... Good luck with that!

GOD is over ALL....satan is not over anything in hell. right now he is known as the "prince of the power of the air" but he will not rule in hell nor will he be in charge of dealing out any torment. he will be in the lake of fire (because it was created for him and his fallen angels)
