I do believe that we go on beyond this realm of existence.
I feel my entire life is a spiritual experience.

Well let me put it this way: I would like to believe in an afterlife, but I will admit that there is no way to be completely 100% sure of such. No one knows what lies beyond death because no one has ever come back. I do believe, or rather I hope, when I die I will go to Asgard to be with my ancestors and my Gods. In the meantime, I focus on the here and now and on living my life to its fullest. I'm am not worried about what the hereafter may or may not bring. As long as I have lived a good life I have nothing to fear and nothing to regret.

As far as spiritual experiences go, yes I have some. I have also had NDEs (which I understand are a result of the brain being deprived of oxygen.) My experiences however did not fit the mainstream idea of what a NDE should be, and that is partly what lead me to believe in the religion I now do.

Haven't experienced anything spiritual but I'm stuck between not knowing and wanting there to be something in the afterlife. i don't really care what. I just want there to be something.

Oh, yes, I guarantee there IS an after life.

I have been born from above by the Spirit of God....It has been the most powerful experience I have ever had...
the guilt of sin removed and new life came in through the power of the holy Spirit....when I turned my life over to Jesus Christ..

I've had a near death experience and multiple out of body experiences. However, understanding the neurology of these experiences, I remain an atheist and convinced that there is no afterlife.

No...go to Ecclesiastes 9:5,10. Those scriptures will tell you that the dead are conscious of nothing at all.
However, the Bible does tell us that there will be a resurrection of both the righteous and unrighteous. I don't think that's what you meant when you said afterlife, though, because that hasn't ocurred yet.

After life, comes death. After death, comes the morgue. Wake up and smell the formaldehyde.

Yeah, and I believe in life before death too, does that make me a bad person? :)
