Religion & Spirituality - 24 February 2007

Currently,I am atheist.But I have met so many people who are religious and enjoy their churches.

I am thinking of joining a church,Catholic?Mormon?Baptist?I don't know.Can you recommend one?

To have belief seems to be great!

Isn't "values" just another self-righteous, hypocritical
attitude? Expecting perfection from others when we ourselves are imperfect?
What about a little FAIRNESS? Realizing we all make mistakes. And instead of trying to kill everybody over them, try helping others correct the mistakes?
It's all in how you look at things. And there is no such thing as a problem, because there is a way around everything!

i can be christian , and do all sin that i like, and be sure that i will go to heaven, becuse jesus died for my sins.

what lucky i am , if i do all derties sins in the world, and sitll i have chance to go to heaven, just because i believe jesus is my savoir.

Hi, I wanna share with you my experience with one a couple of months ago.

Last december, I was camping at my school, my school used to be a japanese camp back in world war 2 where they slay local villagers who didn't obey them.

Anyways, me and my seniors decided to play spirit of the coin. I played and the coin moved by itself, I had first hand experience. So now we decided to ask the spirit some questions.

To prove that it was real, I decided to ask one question that only I know in my heart, silently. "What was the name of my first girlfriend?"

Slowly, the coin began to spell out my ex-girlfriends name, it was creepy. If my seniors was really pulling my leg with the whole thing, they can't possibly know her name, or even heard what I ask.

So it was creepy, and this was my experience with a spirit.



Any of you had an encounter with one, or seen a ghost, or something?

I have a little trouble one week before menstruation with big mood swings. It is ONLY at that time and it doesn't happen every month. Normally it's no big deal, a little meditation and I'm cool. But every once in a while I get a bit over. For example, a small incident will turn into a huge argument. My emotions take complete control and I end up running my mouth too much. The next day when situation is over, it makes no sense to me! Since I am Pagan I was hoping to find some natural tips from others on a similar path. Any suggestions from those who have/do experience this, what they found helps. ????? Any herbal remedies, stones, etc. that are helpful for balancing moods, etc.

I overheard people talking at WalMart.

The lady was teling the man that babies were initially angels in Heaven. Then God says, hey, there is a groovy couple trying to have a baby and He sends the angel to the couple in the form of a baby. (This is exactly how I heard it!)

if a bad christian really believed in holy spirit, then why he is bad?

are they same as god 's view?

I have been dating a wonderful man for the past 8 months. we've learned to be compleatly open with eachother, and i tell him everything, vise versa. But there is one thing i am afriad to bring up. My religion. I am a born agian Christian, and i know that my boyfriend had no religion. Our relationship is getting serious. We have even talked about marrige, and i think its going to happen. But God is a big part in my life, and i want to make it a big part in his too. I really want to tell him about God, but i dont know how?
