I believe Heaven is beauty because the presence of God is in Heaven - and wherever God is, beauty is, because the essence of God is love - and beauty always exists where love is.
As far as 'good people' being in Heaven, I think that's where things get a little complicated. For most of my life, my religious teaching taught me a basic premise - that good people would go to Heaven, and that bad people would go to hell. Lately, I've been reading about 'gospel of inclusion' theories, stating everyone will go to Heaven and that hell is not what most people think. I have to admit, I have a bit of a problem with that theory. Some people live pretty vile lives and/or commit horrible, horrible acts during their lifetime. Something in me feels that kind of person should have to pay a price for those acts in their afterlife. But, I guess that's getting a little too far from your question.
I think Heaven is beauty because of the presence of God, for starters.

I have no idea what heaven looks like but the reason heaven is beautiful is because it is where God lives.

I believe the heaven you will experience when you die is "your" heaven. It's beautiful and loving according to what you define as beautiful and loving.......after all how could it be beautiful to someone else's specifications......then it would not be "perfect" in your eyes. So, the beauty will consist of All you find loving...nature, the people you love, animals, etc.

You really need some education!!! Heaven is beautiful because God created it to be and because He is there... The people who excepted the gift od life through the shed blood of Christ are there. They are good yes because of Christ not because they were ever wonderful human beings... Jim
