So, I have this idea I've been tossing around in my head for a while and I'd like to get some opinions.

I think that Christians place too much emphasis on the writing of Paul. I think that Christians like that Paul has laid out specific guidelines and practices and people like specifics. Whereas, the Gospel and the words of Jesus are a little more vague and promt the reader to look inward for the answer and really think about the topics. And people aren't willing to put that kind of effort into it, they'd rather turn to Pauls letters to ancient churches and do what he was telling them to do. Never mind that those churches existed 2000 years ago and seem to clearly be dated. Whereas, Jesus teachings are timeless.

I think at best, Paul was just a nice guide trying to guide the churches of the time in the right direction. He never meant to be the voice for all Christianity.

what do you think?

Disinformation is subversion. Starting a rumor that is a lie, in order to turn the people of a Nation(s), against each other.
The real concern is the Seuz Canal and Persian Gulf Region. Which is a major source of World Shipping and Trade.
If that area was successfully blocked off, it would destroy
the World Economy!
This is exactly what the Bible warns that the Medes and
Persians, (Iran), Libya, and Ethiopia will try to do. Look at their locations on the map. This alliance is mentioned in
Ezekiel. I think 38:5, or around there.
This will bring about World War.
But whether it will happen before the worldwide earhquake, (Isaiah 24), because the U.S keeps agitating. Or after. When the Nations of the World are weakened. Remains to be seen.

The Internet (possibly YA) would be an ideal way for God to communicate His message, right? So, if God had a profile, how would you determine it's authenticity?

When a brain is injured but the person survives, the area of the brain and the extent of the injury dictate what changes occur.

Does this prove that thinking is simply a biological process and that the concept of "soul" is unnecessary?

With all of the rational arguments against God's existence, and the fact that people who supposedly "believe in God" contradict their own beliefs, is it safe to say that God is reallly a dead conception in a world which is growing much more secular, scientific, and knowledgable? Are we now too smart to believe in God? Has society outgrown such an infantile idea? Is theism at its end, and is Atheism on the verge of triumph?

I have been studying for about 5 years and I don't attend meeting regularly. I know what it takes to get babtized and Im not doing anything wrong as far as smoking, drugs, sex etc...Iwant nothing more for my children to grow up and be a Jehovah Witness. They love it and have been raised with it pretty much thier whole life.5,8,10. I see the peace and love in the congregation. Here's my problem I can't get it togethor. I just can't be consistant with our meetings. We haven't celebrated holidays in years either so what should I do. Should I move on with my life or keep up this confusing struggle of "being a study and not celebrating" or just throw in the towel. Okay and I know alot of people don't believe in this organization and it does have some differant things about them and Im struggling with all of it. So please don't leave a nasty comment. thanks in advance
