Most certainly. It could prove to be highly beneficial, if the suggestion is positive. If it is negative it could turn out to be indoctrination and lead one to destructive ways.

Considering your screen name I suspect you are not a Christian and would like nothing better than to find another way to bash Christians by saying that they are victims of the power of suggestion. I'm going to surprise you here. The answer is Yes...absolutely. Many people who claim to be "super Christians" are indeed victims of that very power of suggestion. However, that does not mean that all Christians are like those.
And as far as screen names are concerned, I realize that some people might not take my seriously either. Frankly, when I joined this forum I didn't know what it was all about so did not make an attempt to "be cool" or whatever. The screen name is a result of my love for my favorite pet, a cat named Pooper.
