"And he carried me away in the Spirit to a mountain great and high, and showed me the Holy City, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God. It shone with the glory of God, and it's brilliance was like that of a very precious jewel, like a jasper, clear as crystal. It had a great high wall with twelve gates, and with twelve angels at the gates. On the gates were written the names of the twelve tribes of Israel....The wall was made of jasper and the city of pure gold, as pure as glass. The foundations of the city walls were decorated with every kind of precious stone. The first foundation was jasper, the second sapphire, the third chalcedony, the fourth emerald, the fifth sardonyx, the sixth carnelian, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth crysophrase, the eleventh jacinth, and the twelth amethyst. The twelve gates were twelve pearls, each gate made of a single pearl. The great street of the city was of pure gold, like transparent glass.
I did not see a temple in the city, because the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple. The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light, and the lamb is its lamp. The nations will walk by its light ...Nothing impure iwll ever enter it, nor will anyone who does what is shameful or deceitful, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb's book of life. Then the angel whoed me the river of the water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb down the middle of the great street of the city. On each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations.....Behold, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to everyone according to what he has done...Whoever is thirsty, let him come; and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life. " (Passages from Revelations 21 and 22, written by the apostle John who had visions of the end times)

Heaven is full of things that the mind can't even fathom. Full of things that we have never seen. That is why it is called "Paradise".
Yes, I can imagine glorious rivers, and wonderful rolling hills of green, scattered with trees and beautiful flowers........Sigh!!
PARADISE....!!

i picture the next garden of Eden.
There are plenty of pink and green trees in the whitest, most heavenly air, animals of many kinds roaming free, with many ghosts & angels, walking the streets of gold....
