spirituality...but what organized religion best represents your morals and values. I am not talking about their belief system, I am talking about their values/morals relating to ourselves, society, the university, etc.

I think the Unitarians really get it right. I could see myself embracing that culture for children.

I live in Toronto, I am Christian, but I love my Muslim friends...I think they're great

I said something to the effect that I don't understand why ppl misunderstand Muslims, they're not all terrorist, and almost all the ones I met and are friends with are great ppl. I was told I was wrong by a Muslim because I live in Canada, and all the Muslims I know live in Canada. In the middle east, many Muslims still feel Israel should be wiped out, and some terrorism is okay.

Is this really true? I know my Muslim friends don't support that, or at least won't say directly to me...but do Muslims in the middle east really feel this way?

I think that everyone is entitled to their own opinion. God gives everyone free will out of unconditional respect for us. Even if you don't believe in God, don't you believe in the respect of other human beings? Why do we continue to use our questions in this medium to ridicule others?

Why would that matter to them at all, since they believe that Christians are just deluded anyway... Or is this the influence of guilt and denial over the undeniable truth that they won't admit?

There just isn't this level of passion from the atheists in the horoscope group...

If Pontius Pilate had ordered that Jesus be beheaded instead of being hanged on the cross, would you wear an axe with Jesus' headless corpse next to it instead of the crucifix on a chain around your neck?

NO way do I! I am not worthy of the love of Jesus Christ, yet He has given it to me freely. What a mighty and awesome God we have! To Christians, God however counts us worthy in His kingdom- Can you believe that? Makes me want to praise and honor Him more, and cast my crown at His feet--He is my reward!
This is what God says to us who believe:
2 Thessalonians 1:5
All this is evidence that God's judgment is right, and as a result you will be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you are suffering.

I know that Muslims are not allowed to drink alcohol. But what if someone uses a little alcohol during cooking (eg. a glass of wine in the meat). Then, Muslim people are not supposed to eat that food?

When I was younger I had a bible that had the daily reading checklist in it, as well as an index in the back where you could look up readings based on your feelings or situation (i.e. In times of sadness, happiness, illness, etc.) Under each situation, it would list several readings. This bible was lost in one of my many moves, and I was hoping to find another similar to it.

More specifically, who in here waited to be married to have sex? Or who is not married yet and has abstained?
Who does not get drunk?
Who goes to Church every Sunday?
Who does not and has never used artificial means to prevent conception?
Who is responsive to the needs of the poor?
Who does not use the name of God in vain or curse?

I've just realized that according to a list to prepare for reconciliation (confession), I don't seem to be the greatest person.

I feel if there is a god, then he must have put us on earth as pawns in a game just to mess with us and then the earth is the playing field and he wants to see how long it takes for us to kill off mankind and he is taking bets. What you feel about my feelings?
I feel this because look how the earth is becoming. If there was a god then he would of been able to foresee this and would have never even created man. I feel were just a game to him. Any thoughts??
