Was God female...WAS JESUS A GIRL??? WHAO, then God must have made a mistake when He....oh erm....she wrote the Bible. Whow, we've been wrong our whole lives, and evey one before us for millions of years!
No, seriously, i can assure u that God and Jesus, for that matter are male.
As for ur question, Jesus is God and God is Jesus, so basically, Jesus love the people more than Himself. God love the people more thant Himself. How can someone like that be a jerk?
God gave us Jesus. Jesus died so that the children wont have to die for their sins. OH, and dont forget, he ROSE FROM THE DEAD after wards.

dude, what kind of religion is that? cause Jesus is a guy. Jesus was a part of God, Jesus was perfect, sin free. God proved to the world that He would give His most favorite Son so we could also live in heaven with both of them. God knew that Jesus would be in hell for 3 days, then Jesus rose from the grave, walked the earth for another 40 days, then ascended to heaven.
it would probably be easier for you to see it this way: you have money and someone you care about needs to borrow the money for a few days. you know that the person will pay you back so you go ahead and give them the money. and a few days later you get back every cent.
Christians would be burdened with their sins and go to hell, but because Jesus took all the sin upon Himself, He went instead of us. Then He rose form the grave. If Jesus conqured (sp?) the grave, then so will we (rapture?).
And besides, if God hated kids, there would be no population of humans. because every one goes from baby-kid-teenager-adult, its the cycle of life.
what makes Him a jerk anyways? you are in America. The freest nation of all the world, you arent paralyzed, you dont have brain diseases that keep you from operating your own brain. your alive, and you are probably healthy too. For you to call Him a jerk is saying that you don't like the way He's operated in the past or in your life. Well, you get what you deserve.

Wow. That sentence mangaged not only to be grammatically incorrect but to make no sense whatsoever. Tell me, did they ever teach you how to use pronouns at school?
After all, you just referred to both God and Jesus as females. And then you referred to God as a male.
But it doesn't make sense, I guess you're right about that...
EDIT: True, we don't know God's gender, but I'm pretty sure Jesus was a dude.

For starters, God was a He and He loved us and sent His Son to die for us, so that we may live...it doesn't mean He loved us more than His own Son, it was His way of showing us He cared for us and wanted us to Love and Serve Him and go to Heaven with HIM......
