Why would that matter to them at all, since they believe that Christians are just deluded anyway... Or is this the influence of guilt and denial over the undeniable truth that they won't admit?
There just isn't this level of passion from the atheists in the horoscope group...

I think you are mistaken to say that atheists get upset about not being able to go to heaven. I think atheists don't believe there is a heaven to go to, for them - nor for you. I also think atheists, generally speaking, frame more considered and factually accurate questions than this

What- only two choices? How about this- we're pissed off because we were promised this place after we die. We research it a little and find out its all a lie used to control large numbers of people at a time, there is no afterlife, and some of us wasted a lot of time trying to figure it out. All over a promise that could never have been kept...
BTW- Undeniable truth? The only think I can't deny is the fact that I am here now, and sick of all the stupid people who cannot figure out that they aren't the only people walking the earth, and the rules need to not only apply to- but be appropriate for EVERYONE. Not just Christians, Not just Jews, Not Just Muslims, Not Just Atheists, Not Just Straights or Whites... EVERYONE

Now who told you that? I think they were pulling your leg and you took them seriously. It is certainly not undeniable truth; I deny it right now. I have absolutely no guilt and am not in denial. I don't believe there is a heaven so why should I be upset not going to a place that doesn't exist. Very stupid question.

Well, Mike, atheists don't get upset about not being able to go to heaven because atheists don't believe there is a heaven. Do you get upset about not being able to go the great castle of the king under the sea? Or to Santa's Workshop in the North Pole?

It is not the Idea of missing out on heaven that cranks them. It is being teased with the promise of hell by the Real Christians when the atheists know very well that there is no Hell either.

Atheists don't get upset about not being able to go to heaven...how can they when they don't believe in heaven? Heaven is a dillusion created by man to give life some eternal purpose.

I've never heard of an atheist that got upset over not going to heaven... that's news to me. And it's very hypocritical if an atheist wanted to go to heaven...

Who's upset about not being 'able' to go to Heaven? I don't recall seeing any answers like that.
Those of us who aren't Christian get a bit upset sometimes at being told we are going to hell, but that's a whole different thing.
