Because im convinced its a collection a fictional stories made up to convinced people that god is real. also none of the stories make sense theyre just as believable as superman and godzilla

if you want to sincerely know God it`s easy! But you don`t want to! We can talk about the subject forever! Myself that I believe in God when I don't see any signs that he is around and Im living a mediocre life right now. I have become sluttier since I stopped going to church so often but I kind of feel happier and lonlier at the same time.

I've heard from people who have attended Catholic schools that things can often turn physical. For example, if students act up in class, the teachers can hit them. Is this true or false? I have never been to one myself, and I don't plan to, but I'm just curious because I've heard this from a lot of people. Thank you for your answers; they are very much appreciated.

I know this is gonna sound crazy, but today i had a complete moment of clarity. My mum died over 3 years ago and i've never truly come to terms with it. Today something happened and it just felt like my mum sent me a sign, I do feel like this is a turning point and finally i can move on and be proud of everything I have achieved so far, the memories fade every day but it's down to me to keep her memory alive, she left me behind. I know many of you will find this crazy, but I really believe now I am exactly where I should be. Have you ever had any experiences like this?

More on the above question! I am a regular viewer of Commercial Evangelists' soap operas telecast through different channels all over the world where they claim of Holy Spirit’s intervention, divine healing and go on misinterpreting Bible to suit their interests. What I find most disgusting is the presence of ecclesiastical community, mostly Bishops, sharing the podium, nodding, singing and gesturing in appreciation of misplaced Evangelism. Judas Iscariot betrayed Christ for 30 silvers by kissing him. Here the Evangelists are warmly kissed betraying and tarnishing the image of Jesus Christ and Christianity either for a TV-Screen presence or for some tangible returns. The pathetic fact is that the presence of church-heads gives respectability and credibility to the Commercial Evangelists that help them in their collection drive and their building personal assets all over the world. Is this not a deplorable conduct that is hostile to Christianity and the faith of true Christians?

I understand that you respect him for doing "God's work", but can you see where non Christians find him and his methods to be distasteful? Accosting people in parking lots with that sinner nonsense is just not a good idea...

Do you believe in certain aspects of many religions?

Do you have a disbelief in atheism?

Do you just flat out refuse to choose?

What separates you from gnostics and deists? (I know the answer to this one - and I just hope that someone else does too.)

I have recently been classifying myself as an Agnostic/Buddhist.
Many people raise their eyebrows as if to say "that figures".

Muhammad (pbuh) did not start slavery but he improved the rights of slaves. Islam improved the rights of women instead of ending them. Muhammad (pbuh) never lived in luxury even when he could. Why would you think a man, if he was as cruel as you think, would care so much for others?

See, I've noticed that a lot of people (believers mostly) suggest that atheism is a religion. Usually it's said that atheism requires "faith". So.....

Does "faith" alone constitute religion? Like... having faith in a politician? Or having faith in a sports team? What about having faith in penicillin? How about faith in the skills of a surgeon? Oh, oh, and then there's having faith in the faithfulness of a spouse or significant other. Do all these faiths point to a religion?

Exodus 20:13 Thou shalt not kill.
Exodus 22:18 Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live.

I know Christians say the bible has no contradictions in it but how is this NOT a contradiction? First God said Do not Kill then this God turned around and said Kill. Which is it Kill or not kill?

it is supposedly known that the KKK group were "christians"
but I believe a true Christian would not hate people
that is called a racist
People have told me that the KKK group burned the christian crosses
then how are they christian
