spirituality...but what organized religion best represents your morals and values. I am not talking about their belief system, I am talking about their values/morals relating to ourselves, society, the university, etc.
I think the Unitarians really get it right. I could see myself embracing that culture for children.

None. Religions are not the source of morals or values.

My husband is an atheist and I'm...well, I'm a sect all unto myself. We are raising our kids in the Unitarian style because that way, they get an education in religion and philosophy without deference for or against any of them (save the anti-fundamentalist stance) so they can make an informed decision when they become adults as to what they believe.

Thinking about it I tend to agree about unitarianism with the buddhist, taoist and stoic backups. Unfortunate that I still don't believe these religions either. I don't believe in creators, universal mind spirits or reincarnating souls. I just see no need for such ideas.

I like Buddhism. I have heard that the Unitarian church is worth checking out but I have not done so yet.
Lets see how much of that good Christian love will be directed at us.

Most of the atheists I know have a far more coherent morality than could be acquired within institutionalized settings. If you were to force me to choose one I'd pick the Buddhists if only for how they crack up (in private) at the idea of "creationism" and other wizard concepts.

As an agnostic, I'd have to say the Unitarian church. But I am a Unitarian, so that's probably why.

I'd have to agree with some of the other people and say Buddhism. The reincarnation of souls can be seen every spring in the new growth that comes up from the death of winter, and what not.

I'd have to say lao buddhism. It allows for all my beliefs and morals, and syncretism with aspects of other religions, making it a possible to accept others and their interpretations of the world, both physical and spiritual..

I think the Unitarians have it right as well. Every person has worth and dignity. How much more needs to be said?
