Should christians stop using the days of the week since they're from Norse religion - Thursday being Thor's day?

How about christians stopped using the calendar and celebrations they "stole" from different pagan traditions, eh?

Not ONE todays celebration is original!
Starting with christmas, which is the ritual of winter solstice, given a make over, to easter, which is a celtic/germanic rite of fertility, over to mayday and maypole (phallic symbol, anybody?), summer bonfire for solstice (purification), over to samhain (helloween) as the beginning of winter and the half of the year when the darker forces rule the earth (hence demonic masks).

That's only scratching the surface.
So don't feel too secure celebrationg your own little christian holidays. Remember, those holidays existed thousands of years before a bunch of priests decided to camouflage them in a veil with a cross-pattern to stop those nasty heathens from having some fun on their own...

I like the Xanth calendar. Piers Anthony wrote a series of books about a magical land called Xanth. There the ogres took control of the calendar and renamed the months. Here are the renamed months.

Marsh
Ah Pull

You're right Dawkins is smarted than Jesus or God.

Good idea ; )

Rev Ted Haggarty sure put Dawkins in his place.

Who the hell is Dawkins? The Romans devised calender works well for me. Starting with the time they crucified you Christ. It's a good time commiserate the beginning. Then we can speak of two billion years before they swung that sucker two thousand years later.

Yea I'm sure we'll get right on that. Should Christians stop worrying about Atheists and get on with their own lives? Yes I think so

It's funny how you equate atheism with evolution, considering 1 billion catholics and the Chruch have accepted it.

That would be really stupid.

Just use AD and BC, rename them CE and BCE.

Dawkins is my neighbour in the good old UK and he told me he secretly believes in God, but he loves the money and attention he gets from being an outspoken atheist
