One Pastor on TBN preached that Satan doesnt have the power to curse. All curses are from God, the flip side of His blessing. Our actions determine whether we receive the curse or the blessing side. He referenced Deuteronomy 30. See link for your convenience. http://www.usccb.org/nab/bible/deuteronomy/deuteronomy30.htm

The pastor on the next show (BVOV) preached that all sickness, death, disease etc are Satan's curses for mankind. We allow him to curse us when we are not first seekiing God. He said that God's not cursing us, God wants us and designed us to be carefree in all things. He designed our bodies in such a way that "strife will wither bones"; we are designed to live in blessing only. Satan is operating on us and within us to curse us. The only people God intends to burden are those ministers he has anointed with the sword.

What do you think? Are curses from God or Satan? Are they real? Have you been cursed? How did you defeat the curse?

should God words has it's own Bible
Jesus words in another Bible
people words in another Bible?

i think that's why many people are confused with the Bible and trinity. for example, When Muhammad was reciting the Quran he was very careful that no one writes his words but only God words (Quran verses). Muhammad was very careful that his words cannot be mixed with God words. and i believe the mistake of mixing God+Jesus+people words into one Bible cause the big confuesion christians living today with.

Christianity is so widely open to interpretation now that it has become meaningless. If the words of the Bible can be flexible to suit any situation, doesn't that make the concept of the Christian god too obscure to survive this century?

I, for one, hope so.

I have had this experience years ago, twice actually. Once when I was in a Church camp for youth, and once when I was starting a 1 yr breakdown.

Has anyone else ever had this experience?

I believe I have the ability to manuplate my energy. I had a strange dream when I was a child and afterward I felt like a different person. I played around with it, trying things with energy. However, I never "learned" how to do what I did, I just did it. I am able to alter people physically. A friend would say something about being short so I would say something like; it would be cool if I could make you taller! They would agree and ask me to try, so I would. I would focus and place my hands on the person's back and envision them growing. When I was finished they actually were taller. I took the necessary steps to ensure that this was actually happening. I took measurements several times, had someone else check my measurements by taking some themselves. I have tried other variations, increasing strength, intelligence, etc, and it has worked.

This seems real to me and those around me due to the results and proof. Does anyone have similar experience or abilities? Also, it is wrong?

Were the so called Miracles done by the various Realised Souls, Prophets and Incarnations in History, just Visiting Cards?

To make people just to know, who they are really?

Remember, they just showed only a few miracles and cures. They did not do these for each and everyone. Few miracles here and there and tremendous Thrust on Their Teachings.

Are miracles serving the purpose of just identification marks or Visiting Cards for these Prophets, Sages and Incarnates ?

I just read a bunch of questions from people who think Jesus is real. Where are they coming from all of a sudden?

I know there are a lot of nutty church people in this society, but they don't usually come on here do they?

What's going on, all the fanatics discovering Yahoo Answers? Will they be coming on here in droves?

So now I must ask the question "Is Jesus Imaginary?" and see what comes up.

Next I'll be asking: "Does God hate Neanderthal fossils?" That's one of my favorite.

Then I'll ask: "Is Jesus dead or alive? If he's alive, what exactly did he sacrifice?"

I apologize for not knowing this, but who exactly is the Dalai Lama supposed to be? I have heard that he is the reincarnated B*ddha **, but didn't B*ddha reach Enlightenment, meaning he is no longer reincarnated? If he is not the reincarnated B*ddha, who is he? Is he just a great leader much like the Pope?

Peace

**I use a star not to be disrespectful but because in my religion I am not to say or write the name of a foreign idol or god, I don't mean any offense by it.

I mean one day your atoms will be recycled in nature and used by animals or something.

Couldn't that mean you might be reincarnated someday?

Christians once persecuted anyone who dabbled in the 'black arts' - alchemy, skrying, medicine, astronomy. But athiesm has proved their fire and brimstone god all wrong.

Every day that passes, we are proving Him even more wrong. The world is still a place of sin and there has been no repercussions. The good lord is still happy to watch us copulate and kill freely, with no visible punishment! Is he just tolerating this so good, holy people can suffer? Or is it the final proof that after 2,000 years there has been no apocalypse - and no god!

Im tired of people dogging Islam because of the things that have happened recently. Just know that everyone in the KKK (Ku Klux Klan) is protestant. If you don't know Protestanism is a subset of christianity. The Crusaders fought in the name of Christ. David Koresh, The leader of the branch davidians, claimed to be christian. You can read about these in the following links.

Come on now! The swearing, the voicing of wishing ahnialation to others? What are you thinking? Jesus sat down with sinners because he came to save the sinner! Your job as a Christian is to lead others to Christ and to be an example! This DOES NOT win anyone over to Christ. You are defeating the goal. Do you really think that this is how Christ would respond? The word Christian means to be CHRIST LIKE!! Because you call yourself a Christian does not make you one, GOD KNOWS YOUR HEART!! Your heart should not be with hatred. Will you go back and think about what a Christian really means and how you should be acting?

In the Sunday School I attend, they start the time by everyone saying 3 pledges:
(1) To the Bible - "I pledge to the Bible God's Holy word, adn wil tke it as a lamp unto my feet, a light unto my path, and hide it's words in my heart that I may not sin against God."

(2) To the Christian flag - "I pledge allegiance to the Christian flag and to the Savior for whose kingdom it stands, opne brotherhood uniting all mankind in service and love."

(3) To the flag of the United States of America. I pledge alligence to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for which it stands one nation under God with liberity and justice for all.

Is this appropriate in church?
