We are all under a curse. When mankind sinned, God placed the whole earth under a curse.
Here are several examples of God placing a curse on someone:
"And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;" (Genesis 3:17)
To Cain: "And now art thou cursed from the earth, which hath opened her mouth to receive thy brother's blood from thy hand;" (Genesis 4:11)
To anyone dealing with Abram: "And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed." (Genesis 12:3)
We must remember, Satan is under God's control. He cannot act without it being filtered through the Father.
I would avoid much of the teaching on TBN. It's nickname as the "Totally Bogus Network" is well-deserved.

Yes God cursed people in the Bible. Job comes to mind. Also the bad terms on which he threw Adam and Eve out of Eden sure sounded like a curse (from now on pain and hard work etc.) Besides, God claims that he makes everything. Good and bad no matter what it is comes from Him ( I don't remember the chapter and verse but that is straight from the Bible).
As for the pastor guy on TV, those guys will say ANYTHING to get something from you (usually money). Ask a question of any two theologians and get three answers. ALL scriptures are open to interpretation. Your guess is as good as anyone's.

Deuteronomy is good for those who don't live as good neighbors. Basically, God told His people that if they would live by His law, they would be blessed. But if they were disobedient, they would be cursed. So yes, God can curse when He judges a persons behavior.
Satan has a goal to destroy whom ever he can. He works through many kinds of temptation because he wants us to break God's law and suffer for doing it. He knows that if he can get us living in away that is disobedient to God, we will be cursed and suffer for our sinful ways.
It is true that good living is also healthy living. But even good Christians get sick, why, because the body is dying even though we are alive in the Spirit. The body does decay and things break. We do have a healing God who wants to bless us when we are living in a way that pleases Him.

What do I think? I think that you need to stop listening to/watching TBN, which, because many of those word of faith preachers claim to be "little gods" with the prerogatives of such, many of us Evangelicals less charitably refer to is as "The Blasphemy Network." Most of it is based on the writings of a self(!)-schooled maverick preacher by the name of FInnis Dake.
Go back again, read Genesis 3:17, it says cursed is the ground "for thy sake"(or because of you). G-d made a world with a specific "shape," as it were-- to work in harmony with His law. We are part of the creation. When we break G-d's law, we break the surrounding order. So, curses come by sin; not just to ourselves, but everything touched by our sin: that's why it's so awful.
It is not G-d's plan that people labor under a curse. Jesus took the penalty of the broken law upon Himself (Galatians 3:13)
In the end of time, when Christ "make[s] all things new"(Rev. 21:5) then the rest of creation that has been suffering from the effects of man's sin will have its Shabbat (rest) when it can finally cease striving against it. And where, once we were the problem, He gives us the privilege to be part of the solution! (Romans 8:18-22)
In recap, the World was created such that sin brings about the effect of cursing so that in the Redemption of the Universe at he end of time we will forever know the enormity of sin and the grace of G-d. We bring curses on ourselves. Satan exploits this property. G-d delivers us --if we trust patiently on Him.

i've got self assurance curses are actual yet they are actually not inevitably from God or from devil by myself. The bible says the flexibility of existence and loss of life are in the tongue. God spoke words and the universe became into created and we've comparable ability because of the fact we are able to speak advantages and curses and that they might come actual. while we communicate damaging issues approximately our selves or others they do come actual. as a result we could continually only communicate advantageous issues and could by no ability gossip approximately human beings to steer away from curses. there's a sturdy e book approximately diverse curses and the thank you to interrupt them referred to as "10 Curses That Block The Blessing" by ability of Pastor Larry Huch.

Cursing someone is speaking ill against someone and hoping it come to pass.
The curse is the opposite of blessing. Blessed are those who love & obey God, and cursed are those who hate & disobey God. The iniquities (family curses, or sinful habits) go onto the 3rd & 4th generations of those who hate God.
People curse people. Submit to God (pray to, look up, pray/ sing scripture, pay attention to God) resist satan, satan flees.
Satan is the one who tempts people to curse people and satan is the one who oppresses or possesses when people are cursing them selves. When people speak negatives like "I'm going to get cancer...". Well satan tries to use our words to excuse getting us to get cancer.
The power of life & death is in the tongue. Either we speak life or we speak death. Positive or negative.
To overcome a curse. Read the bible, claim Gods promises outloud that are opposite from the negative thought or curse. To overcome cancer, claim today that "By His stripes I am healed." "He took bore my infirmities, and God sent His Word and healed us from our destructions.". Also, claim the blessings in the bible. In the bible are listed blessings and curses. Claim the blessings in thanksgiving. Receive them.
Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil and that we could have life and have life more abundantly.
I can feel a curse, even if it isn't spoken in my face. I vision a boomerang heading my way, dipped in Gods love, returned to sender. That is blessing those who curse you. And, the hurt felt leaves. So, this is submitting to God & His Word. So the trick is to renew ones mind in the Word of God and submit to God and Gods Word. Resist satan and satan flees.
Satan temts us to sin and the wages of sin is death. So, satan is the tempter. So when we sin then sickness happens. It doesn't have to be our sin. It could be environmental sins or others sins.
God allows the curse as conscequences of sin. Satan is the one who does the destructive work.
I don't think the word from each of the Pastors were 100% correct. But, I have read the whole bible. Also, have had experiences, in learning to submit to Christ. If I disobey God in an area, God could allow me to suffer a past curse (the witch spirits off in the distance were waiting) that I had been delivered from years ago. Either believe God or suffer those witch spirits.

Black cats and latters not god or the devil... Please, get your superstitious priorities straight. I have not been cursed but sometimes I have been known to curse. There just is no evidence of god or the devil as being anything but a by-product
of the excess psychic activity in the minds of men.

God can curse, He alone has this power. Satan doesn't exist to give curses.

The bible speaks often of God's curses. But, I don't believe in them. They are just fear tactics.
Galatians 3:10 - "For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse; for it is written.
Deuteronomy 27:26 'Cursed is everyone who does not continue in all the things which are written in the book of the law to do them..
15- "But if you will not obey the voice of the LORD your God or be careful to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command you this day, then all these curses shall come upon you and overtake you.
16- Cursed shall you be in the city, and cursed shall you be in the field.
17- Cursed shall be your basket and your kneading-trough.
18- Cursed shall be the fruit of your body, and the fruit of your ground, the increase of your cattle, and the young of your flock.
19- Cursed shall you be when you come in, and cursed shall you be when you go out.
20 -"The LORD will send upon you curses, confusion, and frustration, in all that you undertake to do, until you are destroyed and perish quickly, on account of the evil of your doings, because you have forsaken me.
22- The LORD will smite you with consumption, and with fever, inflammation, and fiery heat, and with drought, and with blasting, and with mildew; they shall pursue you until you perish.
27- The LORD will smite you with the boils of Egypt, and with the ulcers and the scurvy and the itch, of which you cannot be healed.
28- The LORD will smite you with madness and blindness and confusion of mind;
29- ... and you shall not prosper in your ways; and you shall be only oppressed and robbed continually, and there shall be no one to help you... (Deut.28:15-29)
