Christians once persecuted anyone who dabbled in the 'black arts' - alchemy, skrying, medicine, astronomy. But athiesm has proved their fire and brimstone god all wrong.
Every day that passes, we are proving Him even more wrong. The world is still a place of sin and there has been no repercussions. The good lord is still happy to watch us copulate and kill freely, with no visible punishment! Is he just tolerating this so good, holy people can suffer? Or is it the final proof that after 2,000 years there has been no apocalypse - and no god!

We've outgrown a use for him.
Let's leave all our myths behind and let humanity make its own miracles.

If god was dead we'd be in absolute total chaos. there would be more disasters than we've ever seen before. Yes we create God but at the same time he creates us. It is the belief in God that keeps things from getting really out of control. Wars and hatred are in this world by our doing not God's. As long as there is at least one person in this world that believes in some form of God whether he be the Judeo-Christian God or a pagan god then God will live on.

Let the bible speak
2Pe 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
Psa 14:1 [[To the chief Musician, [A Psalm] of David.]] The fool hath said in his heart, [There is] no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, [there is] none that doeth good.

Dear, Mr. AntiChrist
In reguards to your question concerning impending eschatogolical events..God is not tolerating blatant and rampant widespread sin to punish "holy people", but rather, mercifully allowing a few extra years for the bad guys to repent and escape a most horrible fate.
Even secular scientists have moved the doomsday clock forward, just recently...It is going to get real bumpy soon.
Note to the wise..ditch the facade and get on board before it is too late.

The meaning behind the original quote (god is dead. god remains dead. and we have killed him) is actually very well perceived. Basically, It just means that the religious nuts have perverted the idea of god into something that it either never was or never should have been. Not a dumb quote.

God is not dead he is very much alive and yes we kill him with our sins but he rose again three days later and when he did that he take all the sin from us. I know you most be thinking then why people are still committed sin, is because he let us chose about what we going to do if we going to be a sinners or if we going to be good we can chose, so that is why we are still like that because people refuse to believe that Jesus is alive.

No not yet but if we continue search for the truth we will certainly
slay God and and any religion that he dwells within. With a lot
of fortune in the next 50 years religion could become a chapter
in a dust covered history book.

That's because we are all stardust... made of everything the stars are made of... and if you want to name something "God" you can name yourself god. Because all the molecules that make up our bodies have existed since the beginning of the universe. AND everything is made up of the same stuff. There's some magic to it. Is THAT god? Is "GOD" just another name for "Mother Nature"? Stuff happens. And the more we try to control it... the more we mess it all up. Atheism.... just refuses to believe in a diety. (anti-theistic) No God. But you... I think you are anti-christian. LOL!

"Is God dead? Did we kill him?" Hmmm ...
Well God was never proven to be alive. So I also can't tell you if we killed him.
But I can tell you that there's a story that claims he slaughtered his Son and vengefully wiped out throngs of people in plagues.
I don't believe that's what happened. I think that was a human and flawed expression of political power using religious words.

Because He is slow to bring judgment on the world , as you observe slow this means that He isn't there.. Pardon me that's like saying the bus is late so that proves there is no bus... You "proof" is ridiculous. The advice I have for you is to come to Christ so that your eternity may be happy, or eat drink and be marry for tomorrow you die.... Jim

i think that "god" as we know him/her in this judeo-christian society is dead to us now. at the time when the idea was created, it made a fuckload more sense for the time, and was less destructive. it was an idea of spirituality that helped create unity that then got exploited into a power seeker.
